Hillsborough Canvassing Process (After January 3rd) – IMPORTANT WE HAVE TO DO THIS TO WIN FLORIDA:
I will be handling and tracking the canvassing in Hillsborough. Here is how the steps work:
1. Go to http://www.ronpaulflorida.com/ and download the Republican super voters from the 2010 general and primary elections.
2. Email me spencerlrogers @ yahoo.com with what precinct number you are doing. I will then put you down as the one working precinct.
3. If others email me wanting to do the same precinct, I will get them in contact with you so we don’t do double work.
4. Here is how you canvass: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?34488-Door-to-Door-Etiquette-A-canvassing-tutorial
5. You (or whoever is doing the precinct) will let me know when the precinct is done. Email me the list of Ron Paul supporters you met and their email address so we can get them in the fold.
6. If you want to do more precincts I will get you plugged in with another precinct or will get you a list to do.
7. I will also cross off precincts as you guys tell me they are getting done.

The Plan
There are two main things Florida wide we should be doing this phase of the campaign until Iowa is over:
1. Making calls to Iowa and New Hampshire at http://phone.ronpaul2012.com/
2. Give to the money bomb whatever you can, or tell others about it. We need $6 Million before December 31st: http://www.ronpaul2012.com/

Iowa is the marker on the wall from when we transition to a focus on Florida. Things we must do after Iowa is over (3 January). We must hit the ground running with all these things:
1. Place signs all over the place. Thousands of signs in every city, every county, on every bridge, on major buildings all over Florida – official campaign signs, homemade signs, and signs purchased from Ron Paul Products – whatever it takes. People will be voting already here in Florida and some people are already getting absentee ballots. So it is important to have a public presence and start momentum on January 4th.
2. Canvas your precinct. Go to http://www.ronpaulflorida.com/ and print out your precinct super voter list. Then start knocking on doors.
3. Go to and support all the major events – debates, Ron Paul speeches, etc.

The main point about our ground operation in Florida until the campaign gets here with some back up. We are a decentralized operation. It is on us to get it done. Your turf is your area. If your area does not have signs, you must get it done. If your area is not canvassed, it is up to you. We are the representatives for Liberty in our respective precincts.

If you need signs or brochures, you can get them at http://RonPaulproducts.com/ and at http://www.ronpaul2012.com/store/. We are working on getting more signs and will put them out or distribute them accordingly.

Thanks again for all you are doing. This is so important!

In Liberty,
Spence

DELEGATE INFO FOR FLORIDA

I just got this info today. This is highly important. Please register to become a delegate to the GOP convention. We need Ron Paul supporters there. Here is the link to how to do it and the details below:

http://rpof.org/our-blog/delegate/

The 2012 National Convention Delegate Selection Process

Fellow Florida Republicans,

2012 is going to be an exciting year. Not only do we have an important voice in choosing our party's nominee, but we also get to host the Republican National Convention.
With the convention quickly approaching, many of you have expressed interest in serving as a Florida delegate to the national convention. The process of delegate selection is clearly defined by the RPOF Rules of Procedure.

In accordance with those rules, below please find links to documents and important information that will guide you through the selection process. Please, pay very close attention to all deadlines and instructions. It is very important that the documents be completed and sent in accordance with the rules.

To start, RPOF staff have created a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about this process. Please take the time to review this first since it is loaded with important facts.
Next, the rule that guides this process is Rule 10. Here is a link to the rule - in .pdf file format - for you to review.

Then, here you will find a document called the Delegate Oath. This Oath serves as the official application form. The Oath must be fully completed, signed, notarized, and then sent to RPOF Headquarters at 420 East Jefferson Street in Tallahassee.

NOTE: You must send the Oath either by registered mail, FedEx, or some method that ensures that it physically arrives at RPOF Headquarters between 12 p.m. January 30 and 12 p.m. February 3. You can also drop it off in person but be certain to hand it directly to a staff member who can verify receipt of the document.

Finally, here is a list of Congressional District Caucus meeting times and locations. After your Delegate Oath is received by RPOF, it will be organized to congressional district and sent to the CD Caucus chair. At those district level meetings, 2 delegates and 2 alternates will be selected for each Congressional District Caucus. This list will continue to be updated as CD caucuses decide their time and location, please check back.

On April 27th and 28th, there will be a RPOF Quarterly meeting where at large delegates will be considered and selected. If you would also like to be considered as an at-large delegate, please indicate this on the Delegate Oath.

We anticipate many more delegate applications than available delegate slots. We will be selecting a full delegation of 99 and 96 alternates in compliance with RPOF rules. (There are no alternates for RPOF Chairman, RPOF's National Committeeman, or RPOF National Committeewoman.)

I want to thank you in advance for taking the time to apply to serve. It is you, the activists of the Republican Party of Florida, who make our party such an important force of good for our state.

Good luck, and thanks again,
Lenny Curry
Chairman, RPOF

And yes... We CALL CALL CALL and CANVASS CANVASS CANVASS.

Florida is not a lost cause and Florida is not currently winner takes all. Even if it IS winner takes all.. there are stipulations that will be in place to allow for it to move back to proportional during the GOP Convention.

If you live in FL, GET INVOLVED! We are highly active and consist of thousands of members overall!

So much awesome, Volusia County reporting in.

DeLeon Springs is RON PAUL COUNTRY!!!!!!

I don't think he "forgot" Sarasota :) He's just trying to be a positive force and show us what he's been up to, which is a lot.

The only thing I disagree with is spreading the notion that FL is not currently WTA. It is, though that may change back (but the logistics of it will be a nightmare for the GOP to fix). Then again most states could switch at random between if they're willing to break the rules. Suffice to say Florida currently IS, in fact, WTA. The easiest way to compromise and make sure bases are covered, is to keep local and keep Congressional Districts in mind. I have about three dozen folks who not only registered to vote by filling out forms and mailing them right there with me (always keep a stack handy!), but also want me to text/email/call with reminders of when early voting and "real voting" are. There were more than that who just wanted to register. These were rather Paul-friendly folks for the most part, though I did register some folks who were, at the time, Cain-friendly. Cain dropped out, and the nice friendly Ron Paul supporter helped them register to vote. Hmmm!

So yes, there is a lot to do, and it's great to see you guys doing it :)

I have the contact info for several people in Volusia county. I also have buildings and space we can use in Deland. I Guess I just need to make a Facebook page and unite the east coast.

For every article you find that says it is... I bet I can find one that says it isn't, or that it hasn't been decided on yet, or that it will be reversed. Nothing is set in stone. And per the rules, even if it is winner take all after they make a final announcement, they can still change it during the convention, per rules, to proportional. Because of this, it is in our best interest to place as high as possible. We've been working in FL for months now and it will pay off. The last pole showed newt at 51%... I look forward to the next poll showing him MUCH lower, and RP MUCH higher....

If there is any one else's contact info that needs to be added, please let me know.

Anyone that wants to help out in Northwest Florida I have a room available and could really use some help.

HA! Another of us in the Bay Area made an article... That's 3 so far this month :P

“The status quo represents revenue to the big media companies, and Ron Paul is a threat to the status quo,” said Dave Wilcox, a 50-year-old self-employed defense contractor who drove from Tampa to Iowa to help Paul win the caucuses. “And with uncertainty comes fear.”
