I really don't agree with what you did here, but it's your right I guess. I have gone through these checkpoints dozens and dozens of time and NEVER had any problems, I recently saw a man throwing beer cans out the window going down 1-8, I got ahead of him and went through the checkpoint right in front of him, reported him to the Border Patrol, they detained him until CHP arrived and he was arrested for DUI...he was so drunk he couldn't even stand when CHP arrived and he was going 70 down I-8...

Our county sheriffs are right down the road. We live in the county, so we only get city cops out this way if they're with the feds.

Our sheriffs are good people. At least the ones who are in my township. They don't mess with anyone, and aren't overly aggravated and eager for a fight like the roided up cops are. They are also not loaded to the nines with fancy "fuck people up" shit. They have a car, but no crazy armored truck shit(at least not around here). I don't think most of em even wear a vest. Decent to me, so I've been decent to them.
