Florida and Alabama, RP has the most signs

My sister's friend was in Florida and Alabama this last week, and they said "in florida and alabama we overwhelmingly saw more ron paul signs and advertisements than any other candidate"

There aren't any signs for any candidate on either side in my county except for Paul. There are about 12 2'x4's at high traffic areas. Then some small businesses are putting up his signs on their property too.

We also had the most signs in virtually every state that has already voted.....having loads of signs out is great but it means nothing when voting day comes around.

We need to get out there and move the 45+ voter block to RP, its the only way we can take the lead in this race and bring the country back from the brink.

Signs don't necessarily equate to votes
If I would have made a guess as to how NH was to pan out based solely on signs it would have played out like this:
Rep- 1.Romney 2.Paul 3.McCain
Dem- 1.Gravel(that's right) 2.Kucinich distant3rd Obama or Hilary(depending on part of state)
I filled my gas tank 4 times in eight days because I was driving all over the state.
I don't say this to discourage signs, but to encourage compounding sign efforts with canvassing, it is SO important

Just an idea:

The Ron Paul Supporter Young People should go to the retirement homes and talk with the elderly to educate them. I am willing to bet that they will be totally impressed and will learn something to boot? I also bet it would not be hard to set up a meeting with the retirement home. These elderly people don't get much attention and look forward to things such a this. Then you can offer to pick the ones up on election day that actually want to vote for Ron Paul.

The Minnesota campaign has been strongly pushing canvassing and other means of real campaigning for months, but there are still people who just want to do signs and the equivalent. Signs are for supporters. They make supporters feel good. But a sign never caused a voter to change his mind. Only the message can do that.

I've seen quite a few Ron Paul signs here in the Fort Walton Beach area of Florida.

There's a crucial spot in orlando on the exit to 408-east from I-4 West. Couple of Rudy and Romney signs out there. If anyone has an extra RP sign to throw down there it's a heavily traveled spot. Just be careful stopping, it's a dangers exit.

I know a lot of old people vote... But is it people who are limited to nursing homes who are also voting?

If anything you could just provide info pamphlets / slim jims to the retirement homes..

Precinct leaders, this means you! GOTV! Make those calls, canvass your area. Help out your neighbor leaders canvass theirs. A good precinct leader can make all the difference.
