Only 2 mentions of Paul.
...R Paul's just a do-do bird...
Ron Paul typically does very well in GOP straw polls but the complicated process for becoming a P5 voting delegate along with the $175 fee works against him.---Democrat
Any Paul supporters who've maneuvered this "complicated process for becoming a P5 voting delegate"?

can our california sweep and our georgia tie sway the florida Presidency Five party regular people who have already planned to be there???
i feel a second or first place win in terms of the mackinac michigan straw poll helps bring a moxie and momentum into the Presidency Five!

This is an insider's straw poll. We probably won't do well because it's the elite that is voting.

WTF? How were so many people sleeping on this? There were posts all over the place here about becoming P5 delegates.. This should have been posted on Daily Paul. I'm very disappointed in the grassroots on this one.. Props to Shem for trying to bring attention to this event.

This is NOT an insider's straw poll. Any florida resident could have potentially been a Presidency5 Delegate.

I think we may have enough delegates signed up to shock the world and win. I really hope so.

I hadn't filed my residency in time to be a delegate, but I am planning on going to the debate watching/after party. Anyone else?
Also, the tickets weren't cheap.....that may have hindered some people from signing up to be a delegate.

Actually it is. A specific amount of tickets were reserved for Party officials. AND, there was a $175 fee to participate. That means that only those exceptionally interested, which really means the Party insiders, would be the majority of those participating.

in a tampa news story, on the 18th or 19th herman cain came down with the flu and was cancelling events
