The Telegraph said:
A little boy who decided he was a girl trapped in a boy's body has become one of the youngest-ever children to have his decision backed by the NHS - aged just four.

With his blonde pigtails and purple tutu, Zach Avery, now five, has been living as a girl for more than a year - after he first refused to live as a boy when he turned three.

Little Zach was just three when he began refusing to live as a boy, instead choosing to wear pink dresses and ribbons in his long, blonde hair - because he has Gender Identity Disorder (GID).

And the primary school he attends in Essex has even changed the kids' toilets to gender-neutral Unisex in support of Zach since his official diagnosis last year, aged four.

This kids parents gotta be a couple pieces of work!

Wait! Let's call the morality police. :( (sarcasm)

A doctor's official diagnosis... ha!

It's amazing what claims you can get away with when a doctor signs off on it. They aren't bad parents, the doctor said so

I don't care at all one way or the other unless they start giving him hormone therapy before he completes puberty. I've heard of them doing that before and it's fucked up!

so at THREE he "decided" to be a girl...and they encouraged him with shinny things?

whut?

Would be quite ironic if he/she hit puberty and ended up liking girls anyway.

Oh no, they will put him on drugs to suppress puberty, otherwise he won't have a feminine figure... so he'll never actually know..

The doctor and "parents" (they're not, really) belong in jail and the kid should be removed to a household where he will be raised like a human being.

Isn't this an old story?

What position would Ayatollah Santorum take on this?

No need to bash the parents. Nobody here knows what really happened.

When I was 4 years old, I knew I liked girls. Didn't take puberty to discover that. ;)

Clarification: sexual orientation and gender identity are two different issues.

Well this is interesting. If we can't force them to get cancer treatments we can't stop them from doing this.

If anyone gives their son a dress, and treats him like a girl, he's going to assume that's the normal thing to do. I don't notice much social difference between a 4 year old boy and girl, totally bad parenting, they should be ashamed of themselves for it. How the hell does he "refuse" to live as a boy? He didn't want to stand up to piss?

some world we live in.
