Ballotpedia lists on a couple of those races that the original candidate withdrew. What is the story behind those?

Awesome! I consider Maine one of the shining moments of the Ron Paul campaign 2012.

I live in Canada on the East Coast, but if I ever manage to emmigrate to the US again, it will be NH or ME for me... Easy choice in the Northeast!

It would be nice to see Ron gather a list of our winnable candidates across the country and then either set a moneybomb day for them or piecemeal send out emails to pull in donations periodically. That way the broader movement can be focused on something going forward (esp during this election season) over and above the local people handling biz at their local and state conventions.

CaptLouAlbano: Those candidates that withdrew were placeholders. Some of our candidates were selected at a special CAUCUS! ;)

Also check out www.DefenseofLibertyPAC.com, its Maine's Liberty PAC, we have lots more great candidates too, endorsements being announced next week!

I recommend that you have a page on the website that lists the endorsed candidates. I saw that eric was hyping candidates on facebook and when I went to dolpac, I didn't see a list. When you have the names, you should have a list on the website.

Are civil liberties counted in your ranking? I've seen one main one (no pun intended, it is national) that doesn't count civil liberties in the Freedom Index at all.

Yes, on our survey we ask about nullifying the NDAA, as well as asking them deep questions in our conversations with potential candidates.

A copy of our survey can be found here.

Also, we would be very appreciative of a 'like' on FB! www.facebook.com/defenseoflibertypac

Endorsements will be up on our website next week! Thanks! GO GO Grassroots!

Are there any of our guys running who aren't in areas that wouldn't be tough to win? I'm all in favor of our delegates running for state house and senate, but I see a lot of coastal Cumberland County there. I'm pretty sure that's where the Democrats are.

Is there any data or theories or anything to look at, to point to, to make one think "oh, we have a chance here"?
