EDIT: I still wonder why Reagan is there at the end? All he did was pay lip service to our national debt problem. He was the 2nd largest abuser of the federal reserve system right behind dubya. Wasted money. Pulling old battleships out of mothballs just to throw them back in.

Even Ron Paul says Reagan was a failure in many ways.

EDIT2: And to be fair Clinton did the same. He "balanced the budget" by dipping into the SS fund. That isn't balancing the budget. Surplus farce speak FTL. Clinton was the 3rd largest abuser of robbing SS behind dubya & Reagan.

Blackstone's Peterson Backs Film on U.S. Debt Through Nonprofit

July 11 (Bloomberg) -- Blackstone Group LP co-founder Peter G. Peterson celebrated the launch of his $1 billion foundation last night by showing off his latest acquisition: a documentary that examines the perils of the U.S.'s debt.

The nonprofit will help promote the film's release and offer free DVDs of ``I.O.U.S.A.'' to the public after its theatrical run, said foundation spokeswoman Elizabeth Wilner. It will also spend $5.3 million in grants to help young people learn about public and personal finance.

Even if this is a push for the Amero or something similar, it seems like it'd be a good opportunity to hand out materials at the theaters to introduce some real solutions. Campaign for Liberty materials and such.
