Why can't this type of rioting happen around one of our many 3 letter agencies?

I'm all for pointing out police abuse but this whole media circus was a joke. The country is concerned over a thug asshole who is 2-3x the size of most people. It's a shame the store owner didn't defend himself by shooting first. Then it never would've went this far.

There are far more egregious things cops get away with on a daily bases that should be exposed. This was dumb.

As someone who is relentlessly critical of government police forces and their use of force against people, I find this shooting hardly deserving of all the criticism it has received. There are many, many more instances of the pigs killing people (white, black and brown) who did NOTHING to provoke the pigs and yet there was little uproar over those killings.

Michael Brown, as indicated by the video of the strong arm petty theft he committed before being shot, was most likely a reprobate and a thug. You're not going to find a lot of people here who are going to find the loss of that kind of person to be, well, any loss. If that had been my store, he probably would have been given the choice of being able to leave without my property or expiring with my property in the parking lot. The fact that I find Michael Brown to be not particularly a sympathetic figure has nothing to do with any bigotry on my part; had he been white I would have thought the exact same thing.

The fact is that if there is a justifiable case of shooting to death an unarmed man, this is probably as close a case as you can get. I'm not saying it is justified, but rather it's not particularly egregious, especially given the cases of the guy in Wal-Mart or the 12yo on the playground with a BB gun.

Not going to get me to defend rioting and looting. It's stupid, dumb, and childish. I find it interesting that there has been very little rioting over the past 3 months, but stuff has escalated since international left wing anarchist groups have infiltrated the protests, for the sole reason of causing mayhem.
