WoooooW so many nice pups on here Anyway, we are starting to get back to normal life now. Got our gun permit to purchase and went shopping. We now sleep a bit better at night.

My Rhodesian Ridgeback was trained for tracking, could be recalled off a deer chase from as far away as 300 meters and would pursue anything on command, and would stalk like a cat.

Anybody or any thing that threatened me was in deep shit. I friend got mauled once for sticking his head in my truck.

I miss that dog more than I miss my ex wife.

Thanks, Tobie the big male wasn't very nice to Nadia for a few weeks after she came to live with us. It wasn't till later he was seen to finally accept her.

The biggest problem I've seen with the Doberman is that they get cold and want a blanket to keep warm at night.

I've never had a Rottie so I wouldn't know how they are as buddies. I like the Dobie because they can run so fast and stand up high enough to reach the top of your head. They also are keenly aware of when something is not normal. When something is not normal, they go kind of nuts in wanting to make it normal again.
