A bulletin from the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI is alerting local and state law enforcement to report citizens who have too many guns or too much ammunition. How much is too much? Well the notice doesn’t say leaving that decision to the reporting officer. A competitive target shooter might go through five hundred to a thousand rounds week where as a casual shooter might shoot fifty to three hundred rounds on a weekend. Meanwhile the DHS is still trying to acquire a billion six hundred million rounds for the various agencies under it’s control.
