I Vote (SHH) ... its the best way for us to gain new supporters! No One but Paul is too arrogant, to gain new supporters. Bailout might work... jmho.

Thing is the money bomb isn't about gaining new supporters, it's about instilling passion into our already identified supporters to donate money to the campaign, how best to inspire and rally the troops? NOBP imo.

Hey... Im for whatever gets this man the money he needs to move forward. One thing I can say is we need to spread this one fast. This may be the last real moneybomb we have.

A "No One but Paul" theme has been suggested before but it was decided that it would be a major turn-off to new donors.

Really folks?

Mrs. Paul is stellar. It would put media attention on her and us.

Ill be donating on her birthday with or without you. Ive had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Paul. She deserves a moneybomb in her honor.

Bailout for Freedom is the most appealing.

We really need to start getting new donors in.

In fact, people need to start setting up this money bomb so we can promote the snot out of it and make it a goal to try and get as many new donors as we can.

Edit: I would scratch the NOBP theme. Not the time for that.

The post debate "panel" also mentioned that the GOP cannot win without the Paul supporters.
it seems they have got the message.
we need to make sure that everyone else gets it too.
there is no way Romney could beat Obama.
if anyone has a chance, its Dr. Paul

No One But Paul !

I suggested "No One But Paul" back when we were working on the Tea Party money bomb. The money bomb theme needs to be designed around getting hardcore supporters energized. We've already tried to appeal to soft supporters with the failed 11/11/11 Support the Troops money bomb. Didn't work then, won't work now! We need a theme that makes people stand up and say "@!#% YEAH!" No One But Paul energizes me GREATLY. Bailout for freedom does not. I find it boring and I believe others will also, leading to a disastrous failure. This is not what we need when trying to raise money. We need to send a clear message that we WILL NOT vote for anyone other than Ron Paul. Every donation to this money bomb is a statement that we won't vote for Romney in the general election. This will prove a point to the media and the establishment. They'll be left stunned. They will then understand that without Ron Paul, THEY WILL LOSE!

No-One but Paul will galvanize us the best. Not only that, it will send a message that the GOP is doomed without Paul, and us.

It's the only money bomb I would really get behind, actually. We're not getting the press these things were designed for. We're not getting the money we used to. If we're going to have a money bomb it needs to serve another purpose, and NO ONE BUT PAUL sends a clear message.

So let me stress this one more time so that it's clear.
1. A money bomb is not about appealing to new supporters.
2. It's about energizing your hardcore supporters that are more willing to donate money.
3. Bailout for freedom is not energizing to hardcore supporters and will result in a lower donation total.
3. No One But Paul will energize hardcore supporters, resulting in a higher donation total.
4. It will also send a clear message to the media and the establishment that we aren't budging and that it's their election to lose.

If we go with No One But Paul, it will be the first time I've been excited about a money bomb since Black This Out. If Bailout for Freedom is chosen, I'm not sure if I'm even going to create a promotion thread for it. It just doesn't interest me and I've already seen how non-energizing money bombs go.

"Bailout for Freedom" sounds awkward. It doesn't do anything for me in terms of inspiration. I get the premise, But the term bailout is so negative to me that I've rather scrap it altogether and just call it a "Freedom" money bomb.

But I like No one but Paul much better because it motivates me to not only say it, but shout it with my money.

Whatever the final choice of a theme, this Money Bomb must be NO LATER THAN 18 FEBRUARY as Ron Paul stated himself back on January 4th when he issued the $10 Million Challenge to be achieved within the next 45 days.

Due the Math, 45 days from January 4th is February 18th!!!

The reason is so obvious, the Campaign needs to have the cash-in-hand to buy television, radio and direct mail ahead of the HUGE NUMBER of Primaries and Causcus's that will occur on SUPER TUESDAY, March 6th.

Please let's look at the Primary Calendar before making this decision and what Ron Paul himself said!!!

This ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ (+rep)

Think about it guys, what was the themes that worked for our most successful money bombs? I'll give you a hint, it wasn't based on some friendly messaging such as someone's birthday or a national holiday such as veteran's day, MLK, etc. or messaging such as Rev vs. Romneycare, Debate Day, Ready Ames Fire, Constitution Day, etc., etc.. Our most successful MBs have been based around the ideals of rebelling against imposing forces around us such as BLACK THIS OUT, REMEMBER REMEMBER THE FIFTH OF NOVEMBER, DEC. 16 TEA PARTY.

This isn't hard to understand, I don't get how you guys don't get it after all these years. People who are on the fence or are soft on the idea of donating aren't going to do it with a money bomb without feeling passionate about the reason for doing it, the best way to inspire those to donate is to give hard reasons that we are fighting an underdog battle against impossible odds and powerful forces such as the status quo, the media, the corrupt and the hypocrites in Washington, and we need every person to step up so we can win, so that we can restore America! I'm sure I've heard that somewhere? I also heard some slogan from a number of years ago that seemed to turn out to be very successful and brought about a political campaign to adopt it, a congressman to write a book with the title on the cover and a superpac to name it after the slogan along with many others that take it for granted now, something about a "Ron Paul Revolution"?

DO YOU GET IT NOW?!??

WTF.

It's like every other month when the topic comes up for a MB theme this debate needs to be rehashed and then after we have a so-so MB people start to ask why?!?!!? What happened? Uh this debate we are having now is what happened, same was the case with 11-11, and every other watered down MB we've had this election cycle. You guys need to think about what made us successful in raising money in '07 and give those thoughts some serious consideration, before trying to play it safe only to later kick yourself in the ass for making such poor "safe" decisions.

Do we really need to dig up the old debate threads on this same topic that has been haunting us all election cycle?

I agree with everything you said Orenbus. Our largest money bombs have come when we appealed to our hardcore supporters. These were all "Us vs Them" type money bombs. It's the kind of theme that pumps you up to the point where you say "ENOUGH BULLSHIT! HERE'S MY MONEY!" If we don't go with this type of theme, especially before Super Tuesday, I think we'll be in big trouble. No point in making the same mistakes of the past when we don't need to.

Even though I am working on B4F I like NOBP but yeah, we were hoping to strike a balance between inspiring old timers and being newbie friendly.

There have been multiple posts about moneybombs in the last few weeks, some of them were shot down by folks who didn't want grassroots to do them anymore. When people did start responding to the threads Bailout for Freedom is the one that got the most support so that's the direction those of us who bought a domain/hosting and found a website person decided to go in. You can only wait around so long before you have to seize on something and go for it.

Edited to add that domain availability was also a deciding factor.
