Alright, the South-Carolina moneybomb is still going on, but as it looks like the ticker might be up for the rest of the week (source CNN), we cannot afford to wait one week to plan the next moneybomb.

Disclaimer
First of all a little disclaimer, I'm in no means 'in charge' of this moneybomb, I'm just trying to help to get a generally grassroots accepted moneybomb theme. Also, there have been a lot of ideas posted for a new moneybomb on the forum, so the following list is not complete. I've tried to select the themes which received the most response on DailyPaul and RonPaulForums. If you prefer a theme which I have not listed, please comment in the topic.

POLL CLOSES WEDNESDAY 18 JANUARY AT NOON (EASTERN TIME)

Information on the fundraising-themes:
Bailout for Freedom
Working on it: mosquitobite & Mckarnin
Proposed date: Friday 17th of February (Random Acts of Kindness Day)
Short description: After all the corporate bailouts, now there is the chance for the people to bailout freedom! "Liberty: too big to fail"

Something's Happening Here Moneybomb
Working on it: sailingaway? Naraku?
Proposed date: Sunday 19th of February (anniversary of Executive order for Japanese-American prison camps)?
Short description: A moneybomb focussing on Civil Liberties, SOPA, NDAA and Patriot Act

No One But Paul
Working on it: Sentinel, orenbus, nathanielyao
Proposed date: ?
Short description: The idea is to send a message to the media that we will only vote for Ron Paul and not for any other GOP-candidate / Obama.

Happy birthday Carol Paul!
Working on it: ?
Proposed date: Wednesday 29th of February
Short description: Carol Paul's born on Leap Day, Feb 29th. The idea is to hold the moneybomb ('Leap for Liberty'?) on another date in February. Idea originates from DailyPaul: http://www.dailypaul.com/203238/carol-paul-money-bomb

I really love "Bailout for Freedom" it's catchy and people will latch onto it

Tough choice between Bailout for Freedom and No-one But Paul. In the end I opted for the former.

Thanks GhoeberX. As you requested more info:

"bailout for freedom" domain has been purchased and hosted and the web work is underway. It is scheduled for February 17th. If people want to start competing moneybombs that is fine but we have gotten enough input that we aren't waiting around anymore. We want a month to promote this baby. :)

NOBP, especially considering that message has already been accepted by a large majority of the grassroots it would be a great rallying cry around a money bomb, I challenge anyone to come up with something better, but the NO One But Paul slogan works very well for a MB.

Anything with the word "Bailout" I kind of cringe at a bit, the NOBP message is already starting to be engrained in the grassroots pysche and it sends a message how dedicated Ron Paul supporters are to making sure he get's both the nomination and getting him in the white house.

Sounds good. I think it's fair to say that the Bailout for Freedom is the furthest so far with people willing to work for it, so I add it as a "Pro" for the Bailout for Freedom-theme.

I agree that No One but Paul would be a great moneybomb. If it doesn't get run as a competing moneybomb in Feb. I could see it being really powerful when he's had a chance to rise in the polls in a few more states after ads are run, etc and more Americans are willing to say NoBP.

Current poll results:
Bailout for Freedom - 13 votes
No One But Paul - 8 votes
Happy birthday Carol Paul - 4 votes
Something's Happening Here 3 votes
Valentines Day - 2 votes
'End the fed'-theme - 1 vote

Would like to see 100 votes in this poll!

Maybe a play on the Random acts of kindness day?

Random bailout for Liberty day? Something....

I Vote (SHH) ... its the best way for us to gain new supporters! No One but Paul is too arrogant, to gain new supporters. Bailout might work... jmho.
