Here’s the Schedule For the ABC News Republican Debate

by Mediaite TV
February 6th, 2016

On Saturday night in Manchester, New Hampshire many of the remaining Republican candidates vying for their party’s nomination will square off in the final debate before Tuesday’s state-wide primary. We stress “many”, not “all”, because for the first time in the 2016 campaign season, there will be no undercard portion for the debate on ABC News.

After a series of notable dropouts this week — former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, and Kentucky Senator Rand Paul — that leaves only Carly Fiorina on the outside looking in. Fiorina is the only candidate remaining who will not debate Saturday, though many have called for her to be included on stage when the broadcast begins from St. Anselm College.

That leaves a contentious field of seven candidates who will square off; World News Tonight anchor David Muir and ABC News Chief Global Affairs Correspondent Martha Raddatz will moderate the event, which begins at 8 p.m. ET. The candidates are:

Donald Trump
Texas Senator Ted Cruz
Florida Senator Marco Rubio
Ben Carson
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie
Ohio Governor John Kasich

Predictions:

  • Trump demonstrates he is an idiot carnival barker, for the Nth time
  • Cruz comes off to all thinking people as the sleazy, fake conservative that he is
  • The media declares Rubio the winner
  • Jeb gets confused
  • Carson falls asleep
  • Christie remains fat
  • Kasich mentions USPS employees
  • I drink too much in an attempt to dull the pain

OMG that introduction of candidates!!! You had to see it to believe it!

GOP is fucked. Especially when you cant decide on who you want to see crash and burn. I think i want to see cruz crash, then rubio, then trump... not much left afterwards.

No kidding. ABC totally screwed it up and had the nerve to make an excuse that they couldn't hear. That's why they have that guy backstage with the headphones. Sheesh.

Ha, Rubio makes obvious dramatic pause for applause (must have been in the script he memorized)...no applause.

In a perverse kind of way, this is more enjoyable without Rand.

I can just sit back, not give a shit, and enjoy the horror.

No mention of policy yet, at all. LOL

It's about who has "knows how to make decisions" or can eat the most hotdogs or sumptin.
