Fear Ron Paul won't win

I support Ron Paul, and he still has it how about questions like abolishing the Federal Reserve.

I studied stocks, bonds when I was 14, then I came across small book reading the Federal Reserve was a private bank. I thought that was totally suspcious why would a private bank be printing our own currency? The govt has the power to invade countries, prison people, do all sorts of ill-omen things but can't print paper? Then you look at what we have today FR = Corruption.

Thing is RP is going up against a monster, and I feel like still today this monster is slapping him around like he is a nobody. I think he needs to be more aggressive. Not just aggressive but really American Spartan aggressive, and not put up with their sh1t. It's sicking for a reporter to tell him "You know your not gonna win, so why bother?" majority of people view Ron Paul as this Nice guy, and nice guys always finish last.

Worst part the people don't vote for the president directly, thats why Bush won the president election, and not al gore. Popular vote is irrelevant, and it is all electoral voted by people who are in office. So if the people in power vote in the president, and banks own them. How the hell can Ron Paul no matter how popular he is get elected as president?

I just feel he is not going to get elected not even the primary even because the Banks own both parties, and every criminal in congress. Not only the criminals in congress but the media, and even instutions as well. They control everything, brainwashing everyone keeping them stupid, fat, and happy. I just feel we are on a sinking ship, and we all know its sinking fast while everyone is listening to the music. We all have that instinct that something bad is coming, and I feel that everyday.

If RP does win, and say he does becomes president. The banks will collaspe the economy putting the blame on RP. They will use the media to slander him, and making his position as president a sitting duck. I feel the banks have already got us by the balls, and own this country inside and out. Having a other Andrew Jackson repeat, but AJ had brass balls, and took sh!t from no one. Ron Paul Needs this as a new logo

I'm surprised that anyone could see this as a revelation. It's not just the banks. Anyone with power or influence in the economy could act as well. Will they? I don't think we can say.

I also used to think that RP should be tougher. Then I realized that's part of the problem with our country as a whole. We are trying to spread freedom by force. It is impossible. Freedom must be spread by example. "I'm going to force you to be free whether you like it or not." It just doesnt work. RP knows he can't force people to love freedom. One can never truely appreciate freedom without experiencing it and understanding it on a voluntary basis.

Ron will make a big splash in this election cycle. He can win. And win, lose, or draw...imagine the possibility for Rand in 2016. Let's not forget that ace in the hole we have going for us. So it makes sense to campaign for every vote and every heart and mind during the 2011-2012 election. But Ron has many months and has some seriously decent poll numbers for starters. This economy isn't getting any better. MY FEAR is that Ron's campaign managers will fail to market Ron properly. They need to work the angle on the economy and the Fed and get as much slick Rand-style advertizing as possible. Ron needs to distinguish himself as the most anti Obama candidate (which he is) and sell himself in that context, much like Rand did in KY.

Why on earth should I care when yet even people on this forums attack me on pointless sh!t. Our country is f***ed either way, we are broke, the banks own us and the politicians, other countries are ripping us off, and no one gives a damn- make it simple: game is over for America. How many people at your work or at the dinner table talk about it? all people really care about is what is going on facebook or in their social lives. No one even questions the politicians on the real culprit of all our issues in town halls. People only care how its going to effect them not everyone else. We are so bloated sooner or later one of the legs have to give, and it will. We are being robbed everyday, and people don't care.

The people in power know we are nothing but herd animals, nobodies, people who can't mount to anything. Really what are you going to do about it? You raise some valid points. But I would add that Ron has very decent polling numbers at this juncture and has an advantage over main stream candidates in early fundraising, since his donations come disproportionately from the grassroots. The growth and influence of Dr. Paul has framed a much more honest debate, enlightened many voters to the cause of liberty, and played a large and decisive role in electing Rand Paul to the U.S. Senate, which has further framed a debate that indicts the leadership of both parties. Credible polling shows that Ron Paul would strip the Republican nominee of a general election win in Nov. 2012 simply by running as a third party candidate. The specter of this occurrence should give the Republican Party elite great pause and force platform modifications to avoid handing the general election to Obama for a second term. In other words, Ron Paul is already and currently in a position of significant power in the Republican Party. Ron Paul also receives obvious and extensive campaigning from many motivated individuals. The assertion that the Ron Paul Forums participants are not representative of these inspired campaigners is an interesting hypothesis, but I would prefer to see your justification for this before accepting it as fact.
