I think Cenk is going to come our way, eventually.
He too is getting pissed off with the way our man is being treated and I can see him eventually endorsing Ron Paul.

Cenk is good for an amateur journalist, but he's a Big Government Progressive Modern Liberal. He does admire much of what Ron Paul says, but Cenk still hasn't figured out why his claims and some of his opinions are incorrect.

Great video. He did a segment about the newsletters a few days ago that was pretty bad, but he doesn't seem to be hung up on it, still sticking up for the good doctor.

Yes, Cenk is pro Ron Paul. He even said in one of his videos he`d rather vote for Paul than Obama although he`s a left wing liberal.

Cenk is a good guy. Ron Paul talks about coalitions and Cenk can be the very definition of that.

Eh..honestly, after seeing what he did to Schiff the other day, really bothered me a lot. He was totally wrong in doing that, and was wrong on the subject he was disagreeing with. He loves to knock Oreilly for being a belligerent asshole, but he wasn't really separating himself from that much and virtually doing the same crap. Plus he completely contradicted himself. If you seen the interview with Schiff, he gave an example in the beginning with some the TYT staff, showing how the banksters, fed and gov are all in cahoots. Yet, at the end, he was disavowing the govs involvement, saying Schiff was trying to keep the blame off the banksters (when in fact, if you listen close to it, Schiff agreed and said they are part of the problem). His point was that the GOV is the ROOT of the problem. Cut the head off of the snake, and it won't grow back. It was just a very bad performance on Cenk's part, and knocking a guy who predicted the housing bubble along with RP, and who is a scholar on economics, was very disrespectful.

Then, on top of that, he had a panel on the next day talking about the newsletter shit, which was an utter joke, all 3 of them spitting all over Ron, without bringing up a single point on Ron's past and at least showing his history when it came to his stance on race/civil liberty, voting record, his deeds in medicine for minorities, etc, to allow the viewer to at least weight both sides. This brainless woman he had on, was mentioning some garbage about John Birch Society being some terrorist/racist group or something, because RP spoke at JBS gathering or something It was complete attack and hit piece, yet in other vids he stands up for him. Then at the end, hes like 'Well i dunno, you guys may have swayed me to wonder about all of this' It just made no sense at all.

Seems Cenk is just really hot headed sometimes, and lets his emotions take over, rather than just thinking logically and discerning both sides of an argument. Then once he decides to settle down, he changes his tune completely.

Schiff may have been right, but he was also an asshole. He was given a platform to reach a new audience through Cenk's show and he was disruptive, arrogant and rude. Schiff was correct of course, but that doesn't give him the right to act like an idiot on Cenk's show.

I`ve seen that piece. He seemed to me to try and defend Ron Paul in that segment. I agree though that he should have brought someone on the show to defend Ron Paul`s view and present the defensive case. But as I was saying, he did try to play defense the way I`ve seen it.

Schiff can come across as abrasive, lacking certain finesse. Regardless if you`re right or not, it`s very important the way you deliver the message, otherwise you will seem hostile and people will reject you regardless how good your arguments are. People are mostly emotional rather than rational. One should keep this in mind.
He should have known this when making blunt strong statements in the presence of someone he knew all too well has a liberal socialist view. Ron Paul learned well the psychology of approaching people, which is why many independents and democrats are flocking to him. Schiff has yet to learn the ways of the Jedi.

from what i can tell, he's done his research and realized he was wrong? at least, that's what i've got from more recent vids, though i don't follow him.

Peter could not see Cenk, there was only audio. So that's why Peter just kept talking, he did not realize Cenk was asking him questions. It was a misunderstanding, I'm sure the two could have a good discussion. We should email/message Schiff and Cenk and ask them to try again.

Cenk was turned off and got emotional for the wrong reason and made some accusations such as "oh he`s friend of bankers that`s why this n that". He wouldn`t have said that and paint Schiff in that light had the discussion followed different and more cordial pattern. Both Schiff and Cenk acted emotionally.

That being said, think would be a great idea to email them and ask for a repeat.

how can anyone openly go on television (or youtube in this case) and proclaim that they are a "progressive"? even after all the obvious complete failure of their ideas, the massive transfer of wealth to the bankers, the horrible consequences of the wilsonian foreign policies, everything. the only thing i could imagine would be just not wanting to admit you were wrong, but really, after the last 40 years of "progressive" leadership, especially the last 2 or 3, how can anyone proudly claim that as their intellectual legacy?

He booted him off the air because he wouldn't shut up and let the host speak. I woulda booted him too. I can't stand cutoff freaks. Cenk was guilty too somewhat but it was his show fer fuxaches
