PROVO, Utah — A man was shot and killed by FBI agents in Provo Wednesday morning after making threats towards President Joe Biden.

The FBI spokeswoman said the shooting occurred in the area of 500 North and 1200 West while the FBI was serving a warrant.

“The incident began when special agents attempted to serve arrest and search warrants at a residence. The subject is deceased. The FBI takes all shooting incidents involving our agents or task force members seriously.”

According to court documents obtained by KSL TV, the suspect, Craig Deleeuw Robertson, made Facebook posts threatening the life of President Biden, who is arriving in Utah on Wednesday.

“I hear Biden is coming to Utah. Digging out my old ghillie suit and cleaning the dust off the M24 sniper rifle. Welcome, buffoon-in-chief!” read one of Robertson’s Facebook posts referenced in court documents.

According to court documents, FBI agents visited Robertson’s home on March 19 to speak to him about the post against Bragg, where he refused to speak to them.

So the bottom line seems to be that he posted a fantasy about shooting Bragg in March, the FBI visited his home, and then it was dropped.
He posted again this month about Biden, they got a warrant, went to his house, and shot him in the process.

Does it say somewhere that Robertson aimed a weapon or opened fire or otherwise posed an imminent deadly threat, other than internet hot air?

He also posted threats against the fbi after first visit, and actually owned a sniper rifle, so not entirely a fantasy.

It matters why he was shot after being served an arrest warrant. If he pulled a gun, thst is one thing. If the fbi executed him mafia style it's another.

So it started with being mad at a Trump charge.

Then it continues with a "joke" like ones that Trump makes, then the FBI views it as a threat, like they have done as long as I remember, then one arrest warrant later for some more "joke" posts and he's dead.

Still think it matters what happened during the arrest. Still think Trump is a bad leader.

The guy got himself killed by the FBI with his own stupidity. It looks like he made a bunch of threats online, then the FBI busted into his house while he was sleeping. I'm guessing he went for a gun and that was the end of him. That doesn't mean I like it or the FBI. It's yet another death on Trump's hands. Trump keeps getting these people killed or imprisoned.

It must have been an epic battle, even if he didn't fire a shot. No doubt he took many officers with him, just by wielding his cane...

Despite his detailed and gruesome posts, neighbors said Robertson was a frail, elderly man who used a cane and not someone they considered dangerous.
