FBI Hearing on NOW 5pm. Boston Live Blog

Look at this picture. It's obviously Suspect #2 and the bag is right at his feet.

Right after the bomb, he takes off and is seen without the bag he was carrying.

Meanwhile, the guy who got his legs blown off is the guy who identified the first suspect.

What more do you need? It's going to become very apparent that suspect #1 planted the bomb near the finish line and suspect #2 planted the bomb by the tree in front of the forum 10 feet away from the street. Now were they handled? that's a different story altogether. Handled by whom is even a better question, and that doesn't mean I think it was false flag or US government operation. These guys didn't blow themselves up, yet wanted to inflict massive carnage. They must have known that the photographs and videos alone would eventually get them, so I'm still confused about the endgame here. Surely they won't allow themselves to be arrested, will they?

Probably the most common sense post i have seen on rpf since the boston bombing happened.

I've seen this photo several times and only now did I notice the old guy in the foreground...
also, someone was saying its a bad pic. its blown up and cropped. original from a few pages back.

I don't see him drop the bag in this video. Does anyone have a link to a video where he drops the bag?

maybe this is CCTV from another establishment, not from Forum.
maybe they chose forum, because it did not have a CCTV at the front ?

If I had to guess, someone majorly dropped the ball ala the August 2001 warnings that terrorists wanted to fly planes into buildings. I'm picturing a Homeland style Claire Danes character who is utterly convinced that some major shit is about to go down at the Boston Marathon, and cannot get the biggest of the big wigs to sign off on cancelling the race. Instead, the brass decide to put security teams in place to be ready to stop anything that might happen, which would fit the body language of SEAL #1 (no hat) and SEAL #2 (hat) by the wall.

They are then pictured together after the bombs have gone off, and the thing that bothers me here is that they do not react to the carnage around them, but appear to be waiting for instructions as if they are trained.

Meanwhile, there's another group shot of three other guys, via infowars, who are reacting to the first bomb going off.

And one of those three guys is later seen using a radiological measurement device.

I don't know what to think. And I don't think we'll get answers to these questions, unfortunately. It's possible that this was another massive intelligence failure, and TPTB are desperately trying to save face and erase any evidence that they had credible information there may be an attack at the event. I say this because of all the info about bomb-sniffing dogs and so forth, but that may be a routine procedure every year at the Marathon. Perhaps Boston natives could clarify that?

it seems there were many of these black-khaki guys there. extra security ?
waiting to catch the FBI patsies just in time, but things didnt go as planned ?

ok, so this seems to be the white cap guy near the mailbox, who people were thinking as a suspect before on here, reddit and 4chan ?

It may have something to do with high-ranking public officials in attendance; if they are MA state police, maybe someone like the Governor, but could just be in general, since officials from all over the world are there. When the blasts hit, they could have gotten the word that their guy(s) was OK, so they broke off to help out with the emergency response.

If someone knows what that insignia is on his vest, could probably get a better idea:

Lol uhhh dunno if you know how the legal system works, but the prosecution cannot hide evidence from the defense.

True, but this isn't going to court yet - the police only release evidence that they think will help apprehend their suspect. They'll generally withhold key pieces of information for leverage with the suspect.

most convincing evidence of who did it i've seen yet...

from a guy who lost both his legs - one recognizable from one of the more famous photos.

from the article:

Just before 3 p.m. on April 15, Bauman was waiting among the crowd for his girlfriend to cross the finish line at the Boston Marathon. A man wearing a cap, sunglasses and a black jacket over a hooded sweatshirt looked at Jeff, 27, and dropped a bag at his feet, his brother, Chris Bauman, said in an interview.

Two and a half minutes later, the bag exploded, tearing Jeff’s legs apart. A picture of him in a wheelchair, bloodied and ashen, was broadcast around the world as he was rushed to Boston Medical Center. He lost both legs below the knee.

“He woke up under so much drugs, asked for a paper and pen and wrote, ‘bag, saw the guy, looked right at me,’” Chris Bauman said yesterday in an interview.
