While everyone's calling Senator Harry Reid, consider faxing him as well...hundreds and hundreds of pages that say "Audit The Fed!!!" A friend of mine once worked in DC, and told me a story about how reps generally ignore the phone calls, but when their fax line is tied up for days on end, it gets their attention. If you or a friend happen to have access to a fax machine and enough time to send a few, i highly recommend it. Here is Harry Reids DC fax machine:

Is sending a personal letter as a citizen who wants this bill voted on illegal or just spam? If you are allowed to send it, then people should know you do NOT need a fax machine. You can send a fax via your computer with any simple download.com fax software.

Really? I get it all the time. They always offer free vacations or cruises.

And you can sue them for $500 for each fax spam you get. Wanna make some money? Get a law degree, or get a lawyer who will assist you, then post your fax number on your forum signatures on every forum you get. As the spammers start sending you crap, take them to court and get your $500 fine from em.

This isn't an advertisement though. This is a legitimate communication to an elected official expressing a constituent's opinion. Not exactly a free vacation spam fax. And not covered by the law.

Though to be safe I'd put your name and fax number on it.
