Favorite rally chants

i wasn't talking about the battle hymn of the republic. I am well aware of what the lyrics to that are. excuse me for not specifying which song i was talking about.

I know you weren't... scotto2008 was, however. This was directed more to him than to you.

werd. put the thing you're responding to in quotes. lol. silly.:p I had no idea who you were talking to. Just assumed it was me.
I usually do, but it was kinda half and half, both sides of the conversation, and I've never figured out the multi-quote function, so I just left it off...

(and we know what assume does, don't we?) :D

OK it's not an argument until people take sides. Do I get to pick a side or do I get assigned one?

We heard the country is feeling ill
Headaches, fever, and a chill
We've come to help restore your pluck
Cuz we're the patriots who like to.........

Hey not bad Hawaii! Here's a list I put together taking a bit of inspiration from here and there.

Wow. I just did some thinking and some thunking.

Some folks (including me) said chants, but then some said songs.

Songs are good. So how do we make a song that expresses us?

How about this one.

Oh, say can you see
By the dawn's early light
what so proudly we hailed
from the twilight's last gleaming
who's broad stripes and bright stars
through the periouls night
O'er the ramparts we sought
was so gallantly streaming

And the rockets red glare,
the bombs bursting in air
gave truth through the night
that our flag was wsill there

Oh, say, can you see that banner yet wave?

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
