Top doc Fauci admits lives could have been saved if US had shut down in February – but there was ‘pushback’

WHITE House coronavirus expert Dr Tony Fauci said Sunday lives could have been saved if US had been shut down earlier.

Speaking on CNN, the immunologist said the US could start to reopen next month, but warned a second wave of the virus could still hit the country.

During the interview, Fauci revealed that the government had been advised to begin social distancing measures in February.

President Trump announced plans to roll out "self-isolating" in mid March.

"We look at it from a pure health standpoint," Fauci said. "We make a recommendation, often the recommendation is taken, sometimes it's not.

"But it is what it is."

So he is now following the Democrat's playbook. Something must have happened between him and Trump recently. Trump has probably dug in about opening the country back up (whatever that means) May 1st.

To all of your Trump supporters who are still holding out hope that he is going to "drain the swamp" and differentiate himself from the globalists, this is his defining moment in his presidency.

The battle lines have now been drawn between Trump and Fauci, who is really a puppet for Bill Gates and his global eugenics program.

How will Trump respond? Will he continue his line of defense that he was the first one to restrict travel from China? That's not enough.....

He needs to expose Fauci and Fauci's false numbers that prompted the U.S. to take these drastic steps to destroy the economy.

But will he?

Why is Trump using him then? And remember, Trump is promoting a new vaccine just as much as his medical experts...

I don't like either of them. But I think Trump will probably fire him if possible.

So he is now following the Democrat's playbook. Something must have happened between him and Trump recently. Trump has probably dug in about opening the country back up (whatever that means) May 1st.

There have been unconfirmed reports of some friction and allegedly he was banned from appearing on CNN couple of days ago. But Trump modulating his tone every fews days between "we have to save lives" and "we have to open our eceonomy, "packed Churches on Easter" and "POTUS watched Easter service on laptop" messaging is also causing some confusion and even led to some calls that POTUS should be asked to stop "thinking out loud" in otherwise pretty "entertaining" press briefings.

From other doscussion.
Harsh criticism that was embodied by partisan Dem Congresswoman Waters' controversial March 30th tweet seems to be gradually turning into a bigger political phenomenon but with a different tone.
Coincidence that somewhat editorialized top headlines at NYT, CNN, Drudge Report suddenly pushing same 'failure to act early' narrative this weekend?

He Could Have Seen What Was Coming: Behind Trump’s Failure on the Virus

Apr 11, 2020

WASHINGTON — “Any way you cut it, this is going to be bad,” a senior medical adviser at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Dr. Carter Mecher, wrote on the night of Jan. 28, in an email to a group of public health experts scattered around the government and universities. “The projected size of the outbreak already seems hard to believe.”

A week after the first coronavirus case had been identified in the United States, and six long weeks before President Trump finally took aggressive action to confront the danger the nation was facing — a pandemic that is now forecast to take tens of thousands of American lives — Dr. Mecher was urging the upper ranks of the nation’s public health bureaucracy to wake up and prepare for the possibility of far more drastic action.

Navarro publicly said Americans had 'nothing to worry about' while privately warning coronavirus could cost lives and dollars
CNN
Fri April 10, 2020
But in the memo, Navarro had privately urged the White House to impose a travel ban on China. The White House imposed restrictions on -- but did not ban -- travel from mainland China onJanuary 31, two days after the memo circulated.
In a statement to CNN regarding his CNBC appearance, Navarro said, "A question about agricultural purchase commitments is clearly not my lane."
At the White House coronavirus briefing Tuesday, Trump said he didn't know about Navarro's memos until a few days ago and still hadn't read it.
"He wrote a memo and he was right and I haven't seen the memo," the President said. "I will see it later on, after this. But it didn't matter whether I saw or not, because I acted on my own. I guess I had the same instincts as Peter."
In Navarro's second memo, dated February 23, he urged for immediate funding to "minimize economic and social disruption."
"Any member of the Task Force who wants to be cautious about appropriating funds for a crisis that could inflict trillions of dollars in economic damage and take millions of lives has come to the wrong administration," Navarro wrote.
But at a press gaggle on February 24, Navarro assured that coronavirus was "nothing to worry about for the American people" under Trump's leadership.

Trump heads to India for a giant rally

Imagine my shock! This man was on their side from the beginning.

By now, we should not be shocked by evolving MAGA team memebrship.

Donald Trump likes to keep his 'enemies' closer

I don't like either of them. But I think Trump will probably fire him if possible.

As I wrote, this is the defining moment of his presidency, in my opinion. Many people have exposed the connection to Bill Gates with Fauci and Brix in the past few days, and I am sure he is aware of that.

So what is he going to do? Will he finally take on the Big Pharma cartel run by Bill Gates, WHO, and the CDC?

Who is Controlling the U.S. Response to COVID19: The White House or Bill Gates?

Why is Trump using him then?

Why is he using him?? Are you freaking kidding me? Fauci is pure gold for Trump's image!! Fauci is the one who was promoting 1-2 million deaths, and the one who was promoting 100-200k deaths with mitigation.. Trump is probably going to be in the 40-60% range of the low prediction. Do you know how good that makes him look in the end?

The Democrats are doubling down on the bullshit right now, but it looks like we already hit the peak and are heading back down the other side. We have treatments that will be ready to roll out by the time we want to open back up. There will be a pretty decent amount of herd immunity, which we will find out when the anti-body tests come out.

And remember, Trump is promoting a new vaccine just as much as his medical experts...

Trump is hopeful for a vaccine, but he has been promoting hydroxychloroquine far more.

Trump is hopeful for a vaccine, but he has been promoting hydroxychloroquine far more.

Trump is MORE than just hopeful for a vaccine, he is expecting it, and promoting it. Because it is not available now, he is also touting other remedies, but these too are Pharmaceutical products when other, non-patented natural products are seeing 100% success rates. Why isn't he promoting those?

I posted this yesterday and not even one single comment:

Michigan Holistic Physician Group Report: 85 COVID Patients Treated – ZERO Hospitalizations and NO Deaths

We have received comments that this report from Dr. Brownstein should be headline news, and of course it should. But most of the public will blindly follow Bill Gates' shills, and so far, so has Trump.

"Democrat's playbook"?

Don't you know they are all the same! Democrats and Republicans are two wings of the same bird.

I can't believe people are posting about Democrats on RPF! Have you all so quickly forgotten the teachings of Ron Paul, for whom these forums are named after?

BOTH SIDES WANT THE SAME THING!! A police state to carry out their global agenda! Anytime a vote is cast for more loss of civil liberties in the name of "safety" or "public health," such tyrannical ideas are passed with BIPARTISAN support!

Why is Trump using him then? And remember, Trump is promoting a new vaccine just as much as his medical experts...

He is not promoting the vaccine he is promoting the hydroxychloroquine, the Z-pack and Zinc and he is just repeating that it will take too long for a vaccine. But I am definitely pissed, because I believe it was Bill Gates that told him a lot of BS.

Nevertheless, that is my line in the sand, I will not take it.

Both sides may be the same but sadly so many fell for Trump's lies and posturing and have more than doubled down that he'll eventually do something that will make him a decent president. I will say that at times the democrat goals at least are apparent while trump's "whatever any random person on Fox News says goes" attitude or just outright lie for the fun of it is incomprehensible.

Trump retweets post calling for firing of Dr. Anthony Fauci

By Kenneth Garger
April 13, 2020

President Trump on Sunday night retweeted a post that called for the ousting of Dr. Anthony Fauci after the infectious disease specialist appeared on CNN.

The tweet from DeAnna Lorraine, a former GOP candidate for Congress, included the hashtag #FireFauci and referred to Fauci’s concession that more lives could have been saved if the US had acted sooner to stop the spread of coronavirus.

“Sorry Fake News, it’s all on tape,” Trump wrote, insisting his travel ban was the action needed to stem the virus. “I banned China long before people spoke up.”

Earlier on Sunday, Fauci appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” and acknowledged the country “could’ve saved lives” if it had started mitigation efforts earlier.

“You know, Jake, as I have said many times, we look at it from a pure health standpoint,” Fauci told host Jake Tapper.

“We make a recommendation. Often, the recommendation is taken. Sometimes it’s not. But we — it is what it is. We are where we are right now.”

Lorraine’s tweet was critical of Fauci’s cable news appearance and used the hashtag #FireFauci to encourage Trump’s fanbase to add the medical expert to the president’s list of perceived enemies.

“Fauci is now saying that had Trump listened to the medical experts earlier he could’ve saved more lives,” wrote Lorraine.

“Fauci was telling people on February 29th that there was nothing to worry about and it posed no threat to the US public at large,” she continued. “Time to #FireFauci.”

Fauci is getting caught in his own lies, but it seems he does not care, and does not fear Trump. His real boss is Bill Gates anyway, and I am sure Gates will continue taking care of him...

This is how they roll; their arrogance, their haughtiness, and their sheer drive for power and control will be their undoing. My faith in God is what gives me solace with the likes of these people because in the end, they all lose!

I am reminded of this with the parable of Lazarus and the rich man (Like 16).

You mean will Trump use this opportunity to scapegoat Fauci? Of course he will. Trump never takes responsibility for his decisions. Bad outcomes are always someone else's fault, never his.

Real leaders take responsibility for their decisions and there outcomes. Trump is no leader, he's an entertainer; and I will admit he has done that part well.

Real leaders are like Thomas Massie, who take a stand against outrageous government actions even when everyone else in the room screams bloody murder like a bunch of cowards.
