Your mom and I just watched the Ron Paul video in its entirety. This may be the best political ad I've ever seen...precisely because it's not at all political. If I wasn't a believer before I sure as hell am now and wouldn't hesitate to vote for the guy.

This idea was batted around, but the consensus was that it was a waste of time, effort, and resources for a movie theatre. Search around for that thread if you can, and you'll see the arguments for and against.

Man, this is easily the greatest of the tens of thousands of Ron Paul videos ever created. Stunned. Brilliance. To the creator, kudos! FYI - I ripped the video to add captions, but credited and linked you in the top of the description within the video.

My father had the same reaction and my mother is 95% onboard. My father has only liked JFK, RFK, and Reagan, while my mother loved RFK and was probably the world's biggest Barack Obama supporter.

This video actually made me cry. When it got to all the images of the soldiers, the suffering... My brother was killed shortly after initial assault on Baghdad by friendly fire in 2003. We expected him home for Thanksgiving, as he was about to be granted leave. An army officer came to our door the day before Thanksgiving to give us the news. We were crushed. For so long, I felt as though I needed to justify the validity of the Iraq War because of my brother's death. This video helped remind me that he died for an idea of America that he had... an image. I realize now that my brother's death wasn't in vain. His and countless others. His death has come to remind me that I must spend a lifetime fighting to restore America back to the idea that he felt was worth defending. The TRUE America that is peaceful and prosperous. A beacon of light in a dark world that leads by example and not through force. It was an extremely emotional video for me. Thank you so much for making it.
