Fair Tax Infiltrators at Tea Parties? Need Advice

I think I'm just going to take some informational fliers on HR 1207, the history of the Income Tax and Campaign for Liberty materials and leave it at that.

At least these tea parties is a good start in finally motivating people to protest certain issues after so much national apathy. I always believed that once people got hit in their wallets/pocketbooks, they would finally take a stand. I'm just bummed at how this movement is being hijacked by the likes of Fox news and the same old Republican politicians who were part of the problem in the first place. But at least our side is a hell of a lot closer to winning over hearts and minds than we were at the start of the RP Revolution, right?

Ask the fair-taxers a series of questions:

1- Do you believe that our government spends too much and spending should be cut?
2- Do you think that government agencies could run much better if they were reduced & streamlined?
3- Do you believe we could reduce the size & scope of government back to where it was around 1999(10 years ago)?

If they answer yes to these questions, then simply ask them why they are pushing for the fair tax when they could reduce spending & government to 1999 levels and we could eliminate the entire personal income tax....period.

The fair tax is nothing more than polishing a turd.

if the fair tax had no prebate, it still couldn't be called quite fair, but closer, drop it down to a reasonable percentage, give us options on what the taxes go to, then it might be fair

but with the prebate its just as bad as the current system
