Hats off to you Cowlesy, epic move. I agree with the sentiment of your post as well.

I am relatively new to the Liberty Forest but Rand Paul is the candidate I have been waiting for my entire adult life. I have never been excited about any Presidential or Senate candidate in my state the republican party has offered...never. I want politicians to be truthtellers and I want them to be fiscally conservative. My main focus is fiscal issues (although of course I follow social issues and foreign policy) because I believe that a fiscal crisis would likely result in massive loss of liberty.

I also am very impressed with how hard Rand is working...he is putting in some very long days on the campaign. The thought of him being in the Senate and being able to focus 100% on the issues and his message is very exciting...he will have NATIONAL exposure and I am sure he will continue to work hard to represent Kentucky and further the cause of Liberty. Awesome!!

In 1978, I lived in a small apartment complex across the street from where Jesse lived in Raleigh, North Carolina. Never met him, but it was neat to know he lived about 300 feet from my residence.
They attacked Jesse just as much as they attack Rand. Like Rand, about 99% of the complaints were undeserved.
There was a time when he was one of the very few Republicans in North Carolina. At the time, I think there was only one or two in the state house of representatives, for example.
