I see today it is finally getting some major news coverage. UN is on it.
You would think FEMA would have already had it cleaned up.![]()
The lack of coverage is because there are few shareable images. You see the same photos and videos over and over, but I would hazard a guess that it is because many others were just too violent and shocking to report on. The MSM does not know how to report without visuals, but it can't use visuals when something is just this awful.
I actually thought there was too much media there. I can't help thinking --- and I've mentioned this with other disasters --- that the space taken up by a crew flying in to stick cameras in people's faces could have been taken up by potable water or by tarps.
As an aside, I was gladdened to see people gathering fresh rainwater in clean tarps and buckets. The new batch of rain is helpful in its own way.
