Since it's all about delegates, then why did the other candidates drop out?

Seems like they would also be thinking they would have a chance.

They don't have the grassroots or enthusiasm behind them to actually deliver delegates. They also don't have platforms that unify people.

The Republican party is trying to run non-Republicans. When that fails, the delegates as the party will select a nominee the party can actually get behind.
