A dig at Perry:
Asked why she liked Perry, one twentysomething said, "He's awesome!"

A dig at Bachmann:
But after the two Texans, the percentages drop precipitously, with Bachmann only managing fourth despite her convention appearance.

Moneybomb plug:
(Paul is also hoping for a warm reception online, using the occasion of Constitution Day, the anniversary of the signing of the document on Sept. 17, 1787, to launch another 24-hour fundraising money bomb.)

sigh...........that is all she had to say?

There was a grassroots camera going around interviewing different supporters why they were there for Ron Paul, you'd hear people talk about foreign policy, the fed, personal liberties, fiscal irresponsibility, government neglect...EVERYTHING! and all Perry's fan had to say was "he's awesome!"?

I know right? And people's responses as to why they don't like Ron Paul: He's old, he's an isolantionist (which is entirely UNTRUE), he's "unelectable" (whatever that means), he's anti-woman, etc, etc. If people actually took the time to study their candidates we wouldn't be in this Brave New World of 1984.

I haven't heard that one before. I'm pretty sure that being pro-woman is a minimum requirement for becoming an ob/gyn.

"Americans for Rick Perry" hired these people, primarily minorities, to vote for Perry. They did the same thing at the Iowa Straw poll, with the same maroon shirts. These kids had no affinity to Rick Perry, and many of them spent time at the Ron Paul booth. Blatantly buying votes. "He's .. awesome!"

Good one? She opens by painting the Paul supporters as a bunch of hippies in "tie-died shirts" and "dreadlocks". This is likely a flat out lie.. maybe 2 supporters fit this description.

I didn't take the dreadlocks comment literally, I took it as code for "young and hip people". But the comment about the Ron Paul being a footnote in polls is a flat out lie.

But if you keep reading, there's some good stuff, such as fair description of his foreign policy and views on 9/11, and this:

Former state party Chairman Shawn Steele, a member of the Republican National Committee, was the exception, telling Paul's supporters they were infusing the GOP with "a whole bunch of raw energy that we haven't had in the party for decades."

An added benefit, he noted wryly, was that "you're lowering the average age of Republican delegates by about 30 years."

This is why I came in a suit...more people should start doing this if we want to break the mold, we can't give the MSM anymore ammo than they already have.
