I've seen this full video. This guy gives some questionable advice IMO. Like letting the cops search you instead of asserting your rights, because they're just going to come back with dogs anyway. That hasn't been my experience. There have been several times where I've denied a search and the cops just give up.

I agree. I always had an issue with that advice.

I also disagree with his argument about submitting to searches. I once had three cops pull me over and ask me to step out of my truck. All the archetypes were accounted for: power-mad, ROTC bully with a pervert mustache; polite, older "good cop"; and the short one with big ears and his hand on his revolver (seriously -- he had his hand on his gun as we were talking). I just said, "I do not consent to a search of my vehicle" and they turned away without a second thought.

One time, before I had my medical license, I vocalized that I did not consent to a search and was searched anyway. They found cannabis and a couple pipes, took them and let me go.

Advice: If you're going to get caught with herb, get caught with high quality herb.

Used to be a joke in the 1970's I think it was that two groups had the best drugs. One was the pharmacists and the other was the cops.

I think the guy is dead on with the idea that Cops are Adrennaline Junkies who need to find themselves in more and more increasingly dangerous situations just to get their Fix. People can get addicted to exercise too. But the length that the Cops are going to for them to get their Fix is destroying peoples lives. Drugs need to be legalized or handled as a Medical Condition, not a Legal Condition, and that includes Cops.
