The only way to ensure honest elections is to watch the whole process with scrutiny.

Simply closing our eyes and hoping for the best is not a very good idea.

Yea considering he was the first voter in the precinct it could actually mean that there was a technical problem. Be calm. If we're screaming voter fraud before 1 vote is counted then we're not going to be taken seriously and that is what has been our problem from day one.

I have a feeling this will not stop, we are loosing thousands of votes and are turning a blind eye to it! People should video their vote and this kind of bullshit so we can have some proof of it going on....

If not this one, I think the next primary, we should encourage as many RP voters as possible to STAY AT THE VOTING LOCATIONS to observe the process. Take note of any 'errors,' memory card happenings, watch the ballots, etc. I know it's asking a lot of people to stay at a place all day...but I know there are quite a lot of hardcore liberty lovers out there.

The machines are not by their very nature definitely rigged, no; but it is widely known (and forgotten) that they are very compromising. There is no excuse to not oversee the process. Also, better that all the vote count scrutiny be in ONE thread than a hundred.

Michigan uses paper ballots that are read by scanners. There is also a paper receipt. This is not as good as a hand count, but better than the total paperless systems.
