That makes sense to me."Well, here's the deal. I'd think anyone voting for Paul would just say I'm voting for Paul and I'll be there. Thanks for calling. Later."
Who says "Well, I was thinking about saving the country, but if I get another phone call about it, I'll just let it keep going to hell??"
I don;t think the neg responses are from Paul voters... just a guess.
Anybody who is refusing to caucus because they get too many calls aren't solid supporters anyways, it is the same type of person that doesn't like Ron Paul because his supporters are too aggressive.
lol...this nation is full of pansies...always shifting the blame because there is no personal responsibility.
but the question is are we doing more good than harm. And with people just getting home from work who COULDN'T be reached before, we are just now in the window of time that is typically the best time to reach people. Mind you, the prime time is right when they are going to caucus...We need ALL votes and caucus goers, not just the die hards.
If we piss off and turn away those who are more casual supporters, who aren't die hards, we will LOSE- and that kind of defeats the purpose of the calls, doesn't it?
You folks need to back away from the forums and remember that to a lot of people, Ron Paul is a candidate for the Presidency, not a GOD. Not everyone shares your passion.
I'm not making calls, so I don't know if the stories are true, but if a bunch of people are saying that we are reaching the point where we are harassing people, rather than informing them, we need to stop.
Does anyone know anyone at the official campaign who can confirm or deny the story?
How's my join date?
Almost all of the calls I made were to people who had already been contacted. It's time to shut it down.
By the way, I was one of the very first to call yesterday morning and within 20 minutes I had people yelling at me about repeat calls.
KEEP CALLING. Any BS about people being mad getting calls is just that: BS. ANYONE who wants you to stop calling has no idea what they're talking about.
Thank you... I suggest the Mods think about locking this thread. I will bite my tongue about how I really feel about the OP's comments, but I don't think we need discriminatory crap like that... We have legitimate concerns about the Phone From Home and pissing off Iowans. We are suppose to be on the same side regardless of what our join date is...
Is someone going to switch the banner ad over to NEW HAMPSHIRE from IOWA by 9 p.m EST? The energy this evening is intense.
Not everone has a radio or phone presense. If it's uncomfortable or if you are shy, keep the calls short, sweet and to the point!!!
Sailingaway is correct about the time of day and what people are doing as we speak. The timewindow is closing as we speak & type.

Earlier there was not a problem. I realized people were getting called repeatedly from our campaign when a woman answered I will be there for Ron Paul and I am going to caucus tonight then hung up the phone before I even said a word.
He's back?
I switched over 20 minutes ago and have been doing NH calls since. Got a couple live people, only one who answered any questions (dad with a cute kid who picked up the phone). He interrupted me and asked which campaign I was calling from and when I said "Ron Paul" he was like "Oh ok!". But his first choice was Santorum!!! Second was Romney.
