Every person I see claiming bad PFH reactions has a 2011 join date

KEEP CALLING. Any BS about people being mad getting calls is just that: BS. ANYONE who wants you to stop calling has no idea what they're talking about.

How's my join date?

Almost all of the calls I made were to people who had already been contacted. It's time to shut it down.

By the way, I was one of the very first to call yesterday morning and within 20 minutes I had people yelling at me about repeat calls.

"Well, here's the deal. I'd think anyone voting for Paul would just say I'm voting for Paul and I'll be there. Thanks for calling. Later."

Who says "Well, I was thinking about saving the country, but if I get another phone call about it, I'll just let it keep going to hell??"

I don;t think the neg responses are from Paul voters... just a guess.
That makes sense to me.

Anybody who is refusing to caucus because they get too many calls aren't solid supporters anyways, it is the same type of person that doesn't like Ron Paul because his supporters are too aggressive.

lol...this nation is full of pansies...always shifting the blame because there is no personal responsibility.

We need ALL votes and caucus goers, not just the die hards.

If we piss off and turn away those who are more casual supporters, who aren't die hards, we will LOSE- and that kind of defeats the purpose of the calls, doesn't it?

You folks need to back away from the forums and remember that to a lot of people, Ron Paul is a candidate for the Presidency, not a GOD. Not everyone shares your passion.

I'm not making calls, so I don't know if the stories are true, but if a bunch of people are saying that we are reaching the point where we are harassing people, rather than informing them, we need to stop.

Does anyone know anyone at the official campaign who can confirm or deny the story?

but the question is are we doing more good than harm. And with people just getting home from work who COULDN'T be reached before, we are just now in the window of time that is typically the best time to reach people. Mind you, the prime time is right when they are going to caucus...

each person has to make their own decision, but the campaign hasn't told us to stop, and I have the feeling that when it is time to stop this place will be flooded with people saying so.

Thank you... I suggest the Mods think about locking this thread. I will bite my tongue about how I really feel about the OP's comments, but I don't think we need discriminatory crap like that... We have legitimate concerns about the Phone From Home and pissing off Iowans. We are suppose to be on the same side regardless of what our join date is...

Is someone going to switch the banner ad over to NEW HAMPSHIRE from IOWA by 9 p.m EST? The energy this evening is intense.
Not everone has a radio or phone presense. If it's uncomfortable or if you are shy, keep the calls short, sweet and to the point!!!
Sailingaway is correct about the time of day and what people are doing as we speak. The timewindow is closing as we speak & type.

That is categorically false. I had 3 pick-ups and none of them were happy to talk to me. One was called 4x today, one "many" times today, and one hung up when I said "Ron Paul"

It isn't a matter of new members being not as 'real' or as 'good' it is that SOMETIMES new members are new because they have previously been banned as trolls. Everyone here has been a new member, but the trolls often don't last long.

Josh could use the image in my signature if he wanted to. I don't know if we have a NH banner.

I voiced my opinion in another thread and I know exactly how you feel.

Earlier there was not a problem. I realized people were getting called repeatedly from our campaign when a woman answered I will be there for Ron Paul and I am going to caucus tonight then hung up the phone before I even said a word.

I continued until a large percentage over 70 was people already contacted. Not all of the people listed are identified Ron Paul supporters, so if you get rude reply's they could be a person supporting another candidate. I got a couple of those.

The good news is there are lot of people going to be voting for Ron Paul tonight and bringing family and friends. If we lose a few from annoying calls then they were probably not going to participate in the caucus anyway which is a more complicated process than say the NH primary is.

We know disinformation agents exist. We know agent provocateurs exist.

Wait for official confirmation. People may or may not be getting repeat calls, but certainly, if phone calling was being extremely effective, there are those who would tell us we need to stop. In my opinion, unless you personally have reached the breaking point, don't stop unless the campaign says to.

To be fair, that's how I'd answer every phone call I got if I lived in early state.

part of this is that some of the newbies may be also new to the nitty gritty workings
of an actual campaign. these forums were all excellent debating societies until a few
short months ago, and part of this is allowing new people in for their energy as the
regulars lead the way. it helps to be an extrovert when doing phoning. win, Ron, win!!!

the new PfH thread has four people noticing the switchover at about 7 p.m EST.
there is about one hour and 50 minutes of a timewindow for phone from home calls.

I switched over 20 minutes ago and have been doing NH calls since. Got a couple live people, only one who answered any questions (dad with a cute kid who picked up the phone). He interrupted me and asked which campaign I was calling from and when I said "Ron Paul" he was like "Oh ok!". But his first choice was Santorum!!! Second was Romney.

I have had people ask me that and I got into trouble once. Person called me crazy. So to finish the survey I say I will tell them which campaign I am with after the short survey.
