Even if RP doesn't get the nomination, his campaign has already shaken up the system.

Absolutely not. The system will settle back to it's comfortable ways. RP needs to win.

Best thing you can do if RP loses is get a popular selection out of 30,000 meetup members to run for congress seats. The rest provide grassroots support. The idea is MUCH bigger than the man. If RP loses, it means nothing more than there is more work to do. The fact that the idea has gained such traction is already a massive victory. The battle of ideas is the most important battle there is.

Dont fight City Hall, BE the City Hall. Country will then be firmly in the grasp of liberty loving people.

We will get RP to run 3rd party

If the neo-cons prevail in GOP primary...WE MUST INSIST THAT RP RUN 3RD PARTY...He would actually have a better shot..

but lets focus on New hampshire and Iowa for now

Dude this whole thing has been progressing towards the NAU without Congress and the American people knowing about it. Our nation's sovereignty is being sold out by Bush! This is why they don't want to stop the illegals coming in over the border or they don't want the fence built.

I first heard about it from Lou Dobbs. Also search for SPP, NAU, and NAFTA Super Highway for more info. The NAFTA Super Highway is sickening too. A highway from Texas all the way up to Canada.

I can't believe this shit is even going down.

This is the pro NAU bullshit web site.

yup.. The democrats of today are mostly socialists.... Obama will absolutely grant amnesty and hillary will push her socialist agendas and THEN grant amnesty, while footing the bill to the middle class.

oh shit.. I didn't even think of that.. Congress is not in session and he is up there making deals... what can he do without congress in session? Can he put forward legislation?

Exactly! America! I keep telling this to people that are supporting this Bush regime. They are such hard core Repubs wave the flag blah blah blah nuke Iran.

And that is how they want us to think. About the two party system. When we start any conversation with Ron Paul it has to be about "America" We as Americans uniting. That is what is so great about Dr. Paul. He is uniting across parties and voter demographics, color, creed etc!

We HAVE to take this country back. I hate to think of what the future will be in Rudy gets the nod. Or any other candidates get nominated. It is the same BS year after year. Less freedom, more government, more debt, more bullshit.

Ron Paul will get my vote no matter who the nominees are. This is not party politics in my view, its about America. I also agree we need to start moving some supporters into political positions, with the grassroots support. We can take this country back, even if we have to start from the local levels. One last thought: Who had the most write-ins for President ever? I bet that Ron Paul would claim that record if the GOP shuts him out.

Well, even if he doesn't win the nomination, it is still a fascinating and groundbreaking experiment in internet grassroots and networking campaigns. And the best part is, all the videos, all the posts, all the letters, all the ideas, all the enthusiasm will still be there on the internet when we're long gone.

Anyone will be able to go back years from now and look at how a large, scattered group of disaffected patriots with nothing but a modem, a yard-sign, and a disdain for status-quo politics was able to coalesce into a movement bigger than they had ever dreamed, and how they fought for a brighter, free future.

I honestly think there has been a paradigm shift in American politics. The pundits will be talking about this in 6-12 months as if they predicted it all along. This shift began with the Dean candidacy, and it will finish with a Ron Paul presidency.

That's an awesome website... If I had the time and devotion to run for Congress I would.

But the endless slump of bills, being in school, working and taking care of the family gets in the way of that.

I do encourage citizen statesmen of course. The status quo we have with career politicians has dumped this country into the toilet. Electing citizens, instead of politicians is the only way we are going to get out of this mess.

Oh, I am VERY aware of the NAU and such... I just find it "coincidental" that he is up there when Congress is NOT in session.. PHUKKKKKK

Guys...
Why are we talking about this at this point? It's almost like we are creating our own self-fulfilling prophecy. Have you noticed that every couple of weeks, someone starts a thread like this? What if he doesn't win?

We'd better make damn sure he DOES win. Or I doubt we'll have a country much longer? Do you? This campaign is about pulling out all the stops, right now, while we do have a voice. Even though they're doing their best to shut us out.

Don't you think we have to go at this thing like there is no tomorrow? I do. Once the NAU is pushed through, our Constitution will be history and there will be no elections like we have right now.

It just seems to me that whether we're shy or whatever it is, we have to get over it, right now, and go after this election like it is our last chance to stave off a complete economic collapse, martial law, gulags and the complete loss of our Constitution and a sovereign United States. It is my opinion, that this is exactly the battle we are fighting.

I'll either vote Libertarian, Constitution, or a write-in (RP).

DItto. I'm not going to run for office. Heck, I voted Green Party one year, just because I think any indication of third party support is better than a vote for the status quo.

I don't know you guys. I'll be the lone flame target and say that I still see a huge difference between republican and democrat. Ron Paul is my ideal almost, being a conservative leaning libertarian without, e.g., wacky ideas on immigration.

But if it really comes down to, say, Mitt vs. Edwards, I'd have to choose Mitt. Single payer socialized medicine and regulating us to death for global warming scares the hell out of me. Almost any democrat wants that on day 1, and republicans are going the other way. On top of that, there's gun control and supreme court nominees.

This new crop of democrats is more left than anything I could have seriously imagined a few years ago.

only one outcome

Only victory. Nothing less, nothing else....

Ron Paul will win the presidency on November 4, 2008.
Ron Paul will win the presidency on November 4, 2008.
Ron Paul will win the presidency on November 4, 2008.

443 days to go...

You know what I have learned since May (when my eyes were opened up) ... I'm tired of voting the lesser of 2 evils. I will NEVER again vote for someone I have no confidence in - just to vote.

I think this election IS shaking up the establishment ... and that's a good thing ... they have patted the American people on the head and set us out "to play" while they take care of "business" ... nope, not anymore ... I'm a pissed off white woman who is not going to take "it" anymore!

Pretty much the same here.

Any top Republican > Any top Democrat. Even if we are talking lesser of two evils.

I hate em all though. I'll cast my vote for Rp in the primaries and leave the rest up to God.

:)

I'm with Aravoth. I will vote for RP no matter what. And I think the above is a brilliant idea.

Why is the revolution happening now? Why, in 2007 are people suddenly rising up and reaching for the solid foundation of the constitution and the founding fathers? It can't be a coincidence. Bush was Bush in 2004, yet this didn't happen. We are meant to take the country back, people, and we have a tremendous battle in front of us in which we can never back down.
