American stock market closed for MLK day. Tomorrow should be bleak. This could show more Americans that Dr. Paul knows the economy better than any other candidate.

Let's hope so...

That assumes that americans are even hearing to what he's been saying; nevermind LISTENING.

Anybody have a youtube of the other candidates saying the economy is doing great? I would love to spread that around.

I am sure someone could find bits and pieces from all of them (except RP) What would be great would be to put them all together in a video. Have all of them saying one thing about the economy and Ron Paul saying the opposite. That would ROCK!

I don't recall any of them saying it's great - but in the last debate - RP is the only one who said we are in or quickly headed in to a recession - and then went on to add that the housing market is already in a depression. Must be on Youtube somewhere.

Huckabee said he HOPES we aren't. Romney said he THINKS we aren't. Technically, by definition, we aren't in a recession. That's two quarters of a shrinking GDP.

In one of the early debates

RP said we are in a recession and that Main Street knows it but Wall Street and DC are oblivious to it.

Didn't McCain say the economy was good in one of the recent debates? I can remember him at least saying we're not heading for a recession.
