Guys like this don't care. He thinks he can convince people of his version of events solely by refusing to acknowledge reality. It doesn't matter how much video evidence we have; history does not exist as something concrete and immutable for him. History is liquid and changes to suit his needs, and part of him probably believes it in the moment. If he's confronted, his first tactic will be to play the, "Oh, you misunderstand...here's what that video REALLY shows," card. If he can see that won't work with someone, he'll simply slink away and use the same failed arguments with other people. He'll surround himself with sycophants and others who trust him absolutely, and the more friends and associates he manages to convince of his story (you've known me for years; would I lie to you?), the more he will become utterly convinced that he's justified by merit of them reflecting his projected reality back at him...and the more he will become angry and hateful toward the people who refuse to accept his reality. In the face of OVERWHELMING rejection though, he'll really have no choice but to just retreat and do whatever damage control he can.
I'm pretty optimistic in this case...but that said, you'd be surprised at how many people are willing to believe the word of someone they WANT to believe over factual evidence, even video recordings.
