EU President: Copenhagen / G20 are Steps To Global Government

Global government wouldn't be so bad if they weren't crooks. Global government in the right hands would be a blessing, in the wrong - devastatingly bad, more power more exploitation, what is it exactly that they hope to prove by it.

The lust for power never ends and it won't end here, just the same old burning desire to ever increase your illusion of grandeur at the expense of everybody else.

Gee what a shame for them life is so short, that they waste it on such fleeting moments of power then die bitter and shameful deaths, would rather be poor and live a fulfilling life any day. Death comes for these old and bitter men swiftly and it doesn't care for there money, elite and powerful for a few moments only, then they die like the rest of us, they are not the gods they pretend to be.

You could say that same thing for any level of government...... federal, state, local, etc... Global government only becomes global government when it gains the power to impose taxation on ANY HUMAN. How could that ever be a good thing?

I think the original purpose of the UN, or the reason presented to the people at the time, was good. A body that's strictly a meeting point for nations to work on keeping the peace is a good idea. When they step into health care and environmental policy is when problems arise.

I don't see any less military involvement around the world than before the UN was created.
