Can we re ask all the questions that the other candidates had the chance to answer at the forum to Ron Paul at our Rally?

I think it would be great to have a point by point comparison available for how Paul stacks up against the other candidates who attended the forum. I think the biggest reason Paul was excluded was because the issues of taxation and Christian values are to be a focal point of this forum, and they absolutely did not want Paul giving the correct answers to these issues. This forum was going to be like shooting fish in a barrel for Paul had he been invited. If anyone else was going to come out of this thing looking halfway decent, Paul would have to be excluded.

We need to re ask the questions, in the exact same way, in the same order, that will be asked of the forum candidates, then have RP's answers quickly printed off to be handed out to the forum goers and/or the media.

We also need a way to politely encourage the forum audience as they arrive to
stick around afterwards so they can hear all the veiwpoints from all the candidates that wanted to address Iowians.

Depending on what we do, this thing could have a much, much better outcome than if RP had been invited all along.

I dont understand how a libertarian could be excluded from a debate about taxes.

Milton Friedman's Capitalism and Freedom should be required reading material for everyone in government.

I don't think that will work out, because last I heard the opposing event is a forum, not a debate. the structure, as it was explained to me, is to have each candidate speak their piece for a time, then open individually to questions. Does anyone know if this is correct?

If it is, the OP's strategy won't be effective.

I do think, however, that it would be very good for Ron Paul to touch on all of the issues covered in the forum during his speech.

I guess I didn't consider the fact that there would not be debate type questions at the first forum.

But if there is a way for Paul to distinguish himself on the issues that the other candidates will be speaking about, I think it would be a great idea. It would almost be like Paul was at the forum, only in front of a larger, more enthused crowd.
