It's 24/7 politics now, non stop. White guilt. Socialism is the solution. I feel like I'm watching a campaign ad for the democratic party. I checked in briefly this morning. They were running a story about an assistant coach for Clemson that may have used a slur in 2017. Then they started talking about banning the confederate flag at nascar races.

ESPN has become garbage for quite some time.

I know but I've never seen it like this.

I just switched to a package that has fox instead. I noticed on the fox sports radio programs they seem to be avoiding the politics. Hopefully it's the same on tv. I'm guessing that's a corporate decision.

ESPN was garbage 20 years ago when it was still semi about sports, now its a total joke.

This White guilt is idiotic.

Whats next are they going to whine how Europe has to many white players in basketball? and hockey?

No sane white person should be contributing a single dollar to the sports/government complex.

Tribute to UFC President Dana White (BLM and more..)

The UFC is the only organization that has been holding events throughout the pandemic - they have had to fight numerous government agencies, politicians and sports organizations throughout the process.

The UFC is probably the only sporting organization that has NOT come out and made an "official" statement on BLM, for the purposes of ass kissing virtue signaling. One of the reporters asked Dana White about it in the clip in the link above, and he rightly made her sound like a whackjob for it.

Dana White is a good friend of Donald Trump. So the UFC is the only one out there doing it right. I do support them, but one major problem is that they now have a deal with ESPN+ for their prelim fights and fight nights - their major fights are still on ppview.

Yeah, I've always liked Dana White's philosophy with the UFC since the beginning. No fake weight classes for example (super ultra bantamweight, etc).

Speaking of white guilt when I go to amazon prime videos the first thing that comes up is a section of movies about the plight of blacks.

Anyway as I've said a million times private businesses have the right to sell whatever they want. The problem I have as a libertarian is when the government initiates force against peaceful citizens as it does with discrimination laws. And there's a big push now to expand that force.

ESPN will be airing every game of the MLS is back tournament hopefully beginning July 8th.
i'm assuming everyone posting bad thoughts about the network probably wasn't aware of this

NASCAR and NFL crowd (sort of like gamer crowd) has been traditionally strong supporter of US military ; if US political and military cultures are going through radical transformations under Trump command and MAGA phase, it's inevitabe that these sports culture would be changing too. If you just look at NASCAR or ESPN alone, might not be able to understand why changes are taking place.

New Trump nominee for US Air Force Chief position:
"As the commander of Pacific Air Forces, a senior leader in our Air Force, and an African American, many of you may be wondering what I'm thinking about the current events surrounding the tragic death of George Floyd," Brown said.
The general said he has been thinking about living in "two worlds, each with their own perspective and views."
"I'm thinking about how my nomination provides some hope, but also comes with a heavy burden. I can't fix centuries of racism in our country, nor can I fix decades of discrimination that may have impacted members of our Air Force," he said.

Army Invades NASCAR Nation to Drive Recruitment
The Iraq war and the improving economy have forced recruiters to be more creative. They have found one place where their sales pitch is still well received: NASCAR Nation.
At every NASCAR event this year, the Army is setting up a military theme park in an attempt to turn young race fans into future soldiers. It is spending $16 million this year on the recruitment effort, using rock climbing walls, dog tags and electronic gunfights on simulated Iraqi streets.

Will Cain of ESPN sometimes shares alternate views on political topics. He has at times had debates with Stephen A Smith and Max Kellerman on their show First Take.

A couple weeks ago Max Kellerman said only critical businesses should stay open. Everyone else should stay home and get a check from govt, that's govt's job. He also said he was mad that "some groups" were against the shutdown and were politicizing it. In other words "pro-shutdown" was the normal opinion but "anti-shutdown" was the crazy, political opinion of the far right.

Clay Travis is good on Fox Sports Radio. He does politics but mostly counterarguments to the left. Kind of like Dave Rubin but less libertarian and more radical centrist.

I watch zero minutes if TV in a typical week but did watch the Jordan doc and will watch the NBA playoffs on ESPN. I can imagine the debate shows with Stephen A Smith and Kellerman are insanely woke right now.

Edit: I now see your post saying Kellerman is one of offenders. He's obnoxious. I am sure Dan lebetard is awful now too.
