Eric Cantor to lose primary? [Update: Cantor Loses!!]

NeoCons trying to make this all about immigration and they're totally ignoring the NSA part of it...

God has answered one of my prayers. I'm ready to spend some money!! Start a new thread and let the games begin!

Edit, on 2nd thought perhaps we should wait til tomorrow so their site can free up some traffic.

My dem friend got all feisty with me when I thumbed up a Facebook post of his about this. He turned it into a debate about electability...I told him I could care less about electability since establishment GOP = Dem in my book.

Told him to calm down and let us enjoy our one night of agreeing about something political.

great news, but it would have been better if Rand had taken some risk, and supported him

Now I've heard it all...

MSNBC statement on the Dave Brat victory over Eric Cantor between Rachel Maddow and Virginia-Pilot reporter Julian Walker, "Democrat Trammel is not running against a incumbent, he's Insurgent TEA PARTY with Mr. Brat." "It's more of a wide open contest now, presumably..."

This is pretty true. The establishment Republicans would rather see a Democrat in this seat than a TEA Party / Liberty Republican, especially because they are not in any danger of losing the House.

If Brat wants to win this, he is going to need the Palin / Paul / Lee / Cruz type candidates coming in to campaign for him, because the butthurt establishment is NOT going to help him at all.

He'd better go up there and hang out with Massie and Amash. They should set up a welcome party and befriend him before D.C. does.

The guy just got slimed to high heaven by the mustered forces of the establishment. Not only has he no love for them, but he knows they can be beaten.

Moneybomb.

I would be in for a few bucks. After all, anyone who can come up with that quote in your sig certainly has his heart and head in the right place.

Yep. lets do this.

So how does this work? Pick a theme and a date and let it happen organically?

I vote for "Irrelevant Washington" as the theme and Independence Day weekend for the date(s).

I'm saving my nickels now.

It's always nice to find some common ground! :) Hopefully one of these days your friend will "get it" and realize what you're saying is true: 99% of Republicans and Democrats are the same ol' pestilential critter.

That'll only isolate him even quicker. Bad enough that the powers that be already don't want him, but he goes palling around with two select Congressmen, one of whom lost his committee assignments, probably won't let him get anything done.

They aren't going to "let" us do anything. There's no probably about it, lol.

Even Massie was able to sneak hemp reform into a bill.

Not only are they not going to help him, I would guess they're already actively looking for ways to kick stumbling blocks in front of the guy. Both political parties are pretty rough on anyone who crosses them.... sort of like the Mafia.

Point is, cozying up to the two folks that people here like won't do him any favors to the rest of the folks he has to work with. He ran for Congress, not Congressman of RonPaulForums.

This is great stuff. The establishment is totally freaking out...
