Paul Ryan EPJ Article: 'Don't Confuse Paul Ryan with Ron Paul'

My neighbor came over this morning to tell me "Did you hear Romney picked Ron Paul as his VP?"

I wouldn't be surprised if that's the primary reason they picked Ryan.

Yea, let's see how many articles come out that call him by his first name. But that would be strange, since they've been dissing him.

someone even wrote that in a blog: http://www.saltlakesam.com/slcsam/2012/08/11/romney-chooses-ron-paul/

And they did know it would be confused. there was an obviously paid 'social media' person breaking into comments on an article saying Ron Paul people would be happy with Ryan (the comments disagreed). One person said the names would be confused and she didn't even say no she said, well of course there are always some people who might be confused, but really Ryan was a very good choice....

I'm not saying it was why they did it, but I'm sure they were aware.

One of my first thoughts was that they went with Paul Ryan to confuse some people.
Has Romney been using any lines as far as "plan to restore America" like Ron Paul has? On my facebook right now, there is a Mitt Romney ad that says "I’m proud to announce Paul Ryan as my VP! Together we will offer a plan to restore America..." I haven't been paying attention to Mitt so I am unsure if this is something that he has been saying. I have not seen a FB ad from him using the same wording that Ron Paul uses and I almost always have an ad from him on my side bar. Just seemed kind of odd to me. (not really odd but like he is trying to trick us into "liking" him)

I'm not particularly happy about Paul Ryan, but it's a safe pick which should appease some tea party people, where Romney is weaker. It should be obvious that almost nothing will appease us. Some wouldn't have been happy with Rand Paul. Certainly Paul Ryan wasn't going to do the trick. Remember, Romney is working hard to take our delegates away.

Only stupid ones who believe bullshit instead of look at voting records.

Yeah, though I would use Christian words. Speaking of Ryan's record, some low lights:
