Terrible news out of our Texas Liberty community tonight, Jeff LeBlanc has passed away from Covid. (Yes, he had the J & J shot, but he had immune issues).

Jeff was well known throughout all Texas and was a major force of checking the government. Want to know the local and state proposals? Jeff was your guy. Keeping track of Bills? Jeff was your guy. Knowing Roberts Rules of Order to challenge the establishment Republican leadership when we wanted Paul delegates up? Jeff was your guy. Able to speak to people of all political ideologies? Jeff was the reasonable guy. Keep the Liberty fight going long after Paul ran for president? It was Jeff LeBlanc.

He was smart, Christian, a huge lover of freedom. And he drove an Uber. Many of Texas' Paul delegates wouldn't have made it without his advice or guidance. We often know about the big Liberty people because the run for office. Jeff was the man behind the scenes.

Here's a toast to Jeff. FOR LIBERTY!!! You were you the man!

His family has a Go Fund Me. https://gofund.me/21603bfd

I apologize for the ever-inappropriate shyll. We have noted his support of Read King and Keith Strahan, and some of his legislative activism. Clearly he deserves to be remembered and honored for his life and work, not used as an excuse to say what has been said many times already.

May God comfort you in your loss, and may He send more people like Mr. LeBlanc, of energy and courage, who love liberty.

to say what has been said many times already.

As important as it is to give condolences to the deceased, that's also an important topic. Liberty supporters need to figure out what's going on with this disease and these vaccines to help support our own health.

One could have a thread with just condolences, and that's fine, but it only gets more exposure if there is some controversy and posting on side topics related to the person or to the death. Certain types of controversies could be seen as inappropriate if it is disparaging to the subject of the thread, especially if they cannot be verified. However this topic is in no way disparaging, and thus can be used as an educational opportunity.

The CDC is claiming that over 99% of Covid deaths are now from people who are unvaccinated.

There have been very few deaths of prominent individuals in the liberty community from Covid. I seem to remember there was one a while back? Can't remember any others. This is a community who largely sidestepped the government's proclamations and guidance. A community who is split on the issue of getting the vaccine, but from what I can tell seems largely opposed.

So what are the odds, given these numbers from the CDC, that a person from this community who actually got vaccinated ends up dying from Covid, also considering the case numbers have significantly dropped off a cliff? Seems low to me.

Don't know who he was... nonetheless, all best to those he left behind.

As to having gotten the shot, that might be the cause right there. Not sure anyone should be allowing the jab under any circumstance, but anybody with the least health issue should by no means submit themselves to it. That is what I would call pulling the tiger's tail.
