And non-gays can also get married to the opposite sex. I once said in a classroom discussion that gays and non-gays have the same rights. Both of them are allowed to marry the opposite sex. To which one liberal girl said, "No. They don't have the same rights because gays don't want to marry the opposite sex." I thought that was a pretty epic facepalm moment.

However, I might get lambasted by the seemingly liberal population on this board that, for some reason, are in love with the "gay rights movement."

You can thank years of MSM and entertainment industry indoctrination for that. It seems to make them feel good around their peers the look at me I am so enlighten since I am for gay rights and get irrationally angry at anyone that disagrees with the movement. Like anything else, a misguided collectivist view of believing all members of a particular group want government to involvement in __________ .
