U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin has rolled out 31 groundbreaking actions to dismantle the suffocating web of radical environmental rules strangling America’s economy.

These bold reforms advance President Trump’s Day One executive orders, promising to unleash American energy dominance, drastically lower living costs for American families, supercharge economic growth, and restore constitutional governance by empowering state authorities.

“Today, I’m pleased to make the largest deregulatory announcement in U.S. history,” declared Administrator Zeldin in a fiery video statement.

“The Environmental Protection Agency is initiating 31 historic actions to fulfill President Trump’s promise to unleash American energy, revitalize our auto industry, restore the rule of law, and give power back to the states.”

Either under Bush or Obama, they enacted some rule allowing them to essentially hijack bodies of water, even small lakes, ponds and creeks on private property.

I think it even gave them control over people's wells?

Anyone remember that?

That definitely has to go, fuck that shit.

Waters of the United States, or WOTUS.

Trump killed it last time, I don't know if Biden tried to put it back, but Trump will kill it if he did.

This is excellent, but the regime uncertainty effect on business is sinking so many costs. Reason why we need to get rid of agencies making dictates and then having them changed every 4 years when a new party takes the presidency. Big projects take 4 years to plan. Sure there's a lot of power plant scrubber and bag house upgrades about to break ground which may end up getting mothballed. Only to come back and have to get repermitted, and redesigned the next time a democrat takes office. Huge waste of money and effort with regulatory uncertainty.

But Trump is right to recind overstepped EPA regulations.

I consider myself a traditional environmentalist, and these changes don't look so bad.

I did fear worse.

Thank Christ.

A.S.S. is about the most idiotic "fuel saving" measure that has EVER been foisted off on the American motorist.

Worse, even, than the numerous "active/disable" cylinder schemes that every manufacture has tried to perfect all the way back into the 70s, and have been universal dismal failures.

The Environmental Protection Agency on Wednesday proposed eliminating greenhouse gas emissions limits for power plants as well as repealing a toughening of the mercury and air toxics standard for coal- and oil-fired generators.

“These Biden-era regulations have imposed massive costs on coal-, oil-, and gas-fired power plants, raising the cost of living for American families, imperiling the reliability of our electric grid, and limiting American energy prosperity,” the EPA said in a press release.

Huh.

And the EPA survives to wreak all that havic again someday.

Trump official moves to stop diesel rule farmers have been ‘pleading’ lawmakers to fix

EPA administrator Lee Zeldin and SBA administrator Kelly Loeffler reveal a solution to DEF system problems that have plagued truckers and farmers for over a decade.

I don't know if it's funnier that Zeldin and Loeffler can't explain what got changed and how it works, or that Taux is talking about American regulations and showing stock footage of a European highway.
