Endorsement bigger than Demint...

As a life-long Broncos fan and a a South Carolina resident- I can certainly confirm that a Tebow endorsement would be magical down here. I won't go so far as to say Denver's the new "America's Team" (Tebow is still too polarizing in other parts of the country)- BUT they are definitely the team of the Rocky Mountain region (naturally) AND the South IMHO (sorry Saints, Falcons, Panthers, Bucs, Jags, etc.). You hear Tebow talk on the streets, after church, at the VFW, gas station, etc. and Bronco games are must see TV at the sports bars, etc.

That said- Tebow's been fairly adament that he's focused on the playoffs and NOT politics at the moment. Can't imagine him causing a distraction for his team as they head into the divisional playoffs- and certainly NOT next week should they somehow beat New England and are headed to the AFC Championship Game. Not gonna happen...

Tebow is not endorsing anyone per himself.

I would rather have Palin or others who put principles before the Party.

1.) Tebow has stated time and time again that he believes that God does not care who wins football games. Try reading his book.

2.) My wife and I have 5 degrees between us--including two in the hard sciences--and believe the world to be less than 10,000-years-old.

3.) Stop mocking Christians, realize that you sinned against God and are going to Hell without putting faith in Christ.

Could you back that last statement up? It's pretty ludicrous to assert that a person is going to endure an eternity of torment and woe because he didn't follow the arbitrary commandments of some desert-dwelling tribe's godhead.

Ron Paul is devoutly Christian. I'm an atheist. I support Ron Paul 110%. And the reason is that freedom allows everyone to believe (or not) as they like.

Arguments such as the one shaping up in this thread are great tools to divide freedom lovers. I'd advise against them.

Tebow is managed by pr professionals. They would be the persons to persuade, i.e his management. He has this clean image not only because of his (probably true) faith, but because some people in his entourage know how to promote him and make serious money out of it. I don't condemn this, just want to make clear how we could get his endorsement.

Wanna know how far out of the mainstream I am? i don't even know who Tim Tebow is? Hahaha. I keep hearing his name (including on that debate) and I still don't know. I remember for the OJ Simpson trial (I was more part of the mainstream then) thinking how can they possibly find jurors that don't know about the OJ ordeal? But know I think I could be a good juror for a bunch of high profile cases since I don't even hear about them. I turned off the TV over 10 years ago!

don't worry...I know a few females that also didn't know who he was...

It's fine to believe all manner of different things, but please do not link certain ideas, whether they be young earth creationism, alternative views of historical events (often called 'conspiracy theories'), etc. with the campaign. Those things are open to discussion by free people in a free society, but we are joined together to secure freedom first and foremost.

Tebow should endorse Ron Paul. It would be the Christian thing to do.

A million possible innocent Iranian lives are on the line. The rest of the candidates are frothing at the mouth for mass murder in Iran.

Mickeys,

You proceeded to insult me, then propped up a straw man argument about JFK, then never addressed my position. Seems like youre the ignorant one.

Yes, the world is only 6000 years old and there is loads of science to prove it.

1. Sea sediment accumulation
2. The Roche Limit
3. Amount oif salt in the oceans
4. Amount of carbon in the atmosphere

And on and on we can go.

As for this issue being one that can divide freedom lovers, huh????? I thought liberty promoted discussion and debate and the search for truth.

Evolution and the old earth nonsense is very much like the past 100 years of liberal media Anti constitutional lies that have plagued this country. Young earth creationism, like the constitution used to be what was believed, until a bunch of bible hating agenda driven atheists pretending to be scientists decided to spread their mythology.

It takes much more blind faith to believe the universe is billions of years old. The earth is 6000 years old, just as the genealogies in the Bible state. By the way, the Constituion Ron Paul loves was largely derived from that very same Bible. So rather than knocking the Bible, please don't wear Ron Paul buttons and shirts, claiming the earth is billions of years old. :)

I had a buddy say something about dinosaur fossils being invented or something to the effect that they aren't real or something. It was awhile back so I don't remember. What's the answer regarding dinosaurs, just curious.

If you visit Ron Paul's home state, Texas, you can go to a park where they found a man's foot print inside a dinosaur foot print. This is near Dallas I believe. Both prints are in the same layer. In Ireland they discovered a man's tooth embedded in a dinosaur bone. A dinosaur was described in the book of Job in the bible. Dinosaurs and men coexisted up until about 4200 years ago when a world wide flood came. The fossil record proves again and again men and dinosaurs coexisted. All the mythologies about dragons come from dinosaurs.

Get Kelly Clarkson and Chuck Norris to recruit Tebow. He knows Chuck Norris!

I was thinking that SC might be make or break for the campaign (if Romney wins..) and what kind of endorsement could change the whole race?

Then it hit me: Who is the most popular Evangelical Christian right now?

That's right: TIM TEBOW.

Is there any way we could get an endorsement from him? Does anyone know someone close to him? Could we draft him or start a petition?

Just think of the media blow up if Tim Tebow endorses Ron Paul... He would win SC and a few other states in a landslide.
