Sign ups per city range from 1 to 22 at he End The Fed site. What's your secret about how it's gonna be huge?

I've been in contact with over 200 people who have expressed an interest in coming to Charlotte for the 22nd from all over NC as well as a goodly portion of SC. (props to Greenville, SC!) We only have 18 people signed up on the above meetup, however, there are two reasons, one--several people are too busy with the election to join up right now, and two--a lot a people are connected vicariously, in other words, they won't be signing up--someone from their "group" has signed up and will be keeping them up to date. I expect the signups to start rolling in by the 8th.

I will be scheduling a conf call sometime after the 10th, there is a sign painting/get together planned for the 15th for those who can make it and then we have the 22nd. (all of this is/will be on the meetup calendar)

Please, if you are planning on coming to Charlotte for this event, sign in at the above meetup and let me know what you expect out of the event--waving signs and shouting slogans; OR platform/mikes/speeches; AFTERWARDS handing out dvd/flyers later in the day in the uptown???? (There won't be much of a crowd to hand flyers and dvds out to at the Fed site.) I need to know asap so I can get the permitting done properly. For sign waving and slogan chanting, there is a 48 hr in advance free permit, however, IF we go the other route, I need to plan on a different type of permit and have a whole lot more of preparation to do (delegate, delegate, delegate, volunteers, volunteers, volunteers)

There's been quite a bit of concern about where we will meetup before the event. There is a large, public parking deck on the block just west of the Charlotte/Mecklenburg County Municipal building. The Char/Meck building is less than two blocks from the Fed. I think it will do just fine.
