I can still switch parties. I will vote lp bob barr (who i hate) before i would support a romney/rand ticket. I will freaking vote obama to stop romney. This kind of talk makes me want to call the ron paul campaign and ask for every dime i have donated back. If i could cancel my dbit card donations i freaking would if this is what they are trying. maybe i just need to stop now.

I am disinclined to vote for a Romney/Paul ticket, but I can't help but wonder exactly how powerful being president of the Senate really is.

Would it be the case that the Senate president could literally stop unbalanced budgets and unconstitutional bills from being voted upon?

I'm not well versed in roberts rules or senate procedures, but if Paul could in fact hold the government hostage as president of the senate I could see myself considering a vote to put him in that position.

Stop letting uninformed people making uninformed statements get you riled up, you are letting them do a media job to your head, get them out!!!

It's good news but please don't fall for the assumption that Paul is going to do well based on your empirical research which is your network. I remember a friend in OH saying that his neighborhood had all MaCain yard signs and no way Obama was going to win OH. Well, we all know how that turned out.

Scientific research is more important of an outcome which are the polls albeit they can be slightly off, hence margin of error.

Thanks for sharing. I think a lot of people, me included, on this forum need to hear a lot of positive news for us to not go insane!

Anyway, I hate to be a downer here,

But there is no way that Romney would pick him as a VP. Even if that was offered, in a moment of lapse from Mitt, I couldn't picture Ron accepting.

Remember, Mitt will be controlled by the bankers. Why on earth would someone think he ll choose Ron?

Romney would love to have Ron as his VP because it would be mutually exclusive with a Ron Paul 3rd Party run which would assure Mittens of a loss in the general election.
