Email the GOP Chairman

I'm all for this, but please explain to me why the petition I proposed to send to the National GOP was so poorly received in here? I didn't even say "If John McCain is the nominee...." all I said was "If the National GOP continue to condone and promote the unfair media treatment of Ron Paul they can forget our support in November." Yet somehow it went over like a lead balloon. A petition to let them know that their support for the marginalization of Ron Paul will lead to defeat and a loss of all of us as supporters seemed like a good idea to me. But apparently not to anyone else.

Did not see the petition post- can you post link?

Well, I wouldn't worry about it since we have this new thing. It may be a moot point anyway. I just wrote a petition to the GOP to say that if they continue to participate in the censorship of Dr. Paul's message that we (the undersigned - thinking we could get many thousands of signatures.) would ensure of GOP defeat in November. Just something to show them there are many thousands of us and we have some clout.

The PA GOP announced their support of McCain this past week.... and our primary isn't until April 22.

Here is what I wrote to him:

Dear Mr. Chairman,

I am writing to advise you that, should Sen. John McCain receive the Republican Nomination for President of the United States, I will not support the GOP this year in the General Election. My reasons are simple. John McCain is not, as his television ads proclaim, a true conservative. His votes in the Senate, his support for the Iraq War, his co-sponsorship of the campaign reform rules, and his stand on illegal immigration, prove he is anything but conservative.

The mainstream media has acted in an extremely biased fashion this election year. If one did not know better, one would assume McCain, and Gov. Romney were the only two candidates running on the GOP ticket. Sadly, many people rely solely on television and radio for their daily news. If they are not hearing fair, objective reporting of the presidential primaries, they are unable to make informed decisions as to how to cast their votes.

Also of note, is the behavior of the Republican Parties of the various states who have so far held primaries and caucuses. In most cases, their bias is clearly evident in their dealings with the candidates. They would seem to give preferential treatment to the so-called "top-tier" candidates. While I am not able to present evidence of such action at this time, the mere appearance of such bias is more than enough for me to make a judgement.

Therefore, at the completion of this primary season, should Sen McCain receive the republican nomination, I will resign from the Republican Party, and cease any and all support for it's candidates or it's actions.

Sincerely,

Paul M. Green

So, what if the GOP leadership wants McCain to lose to Hillary? Hmmm? Since when were things what they seem in politics? After all, the mouthpiece of the GOP donated the max amount to Hillary (Murdoch).

That is a very interesting factoid that Murdoch donated to Hillary. In my opinion, she is a NeoCon in disguise. The line between Repub and Dem is so blurry now, you never know. I mean, look at McCain. That moron is about as liberal as a Republican can get, almost as if he's only GOP in name.
