Elon: 'Let's Cut Two TRILLION From The Budget!'

At a recent Trump campaign rally, entrepreneur Elon Musk announced that the US budget should be cut by at least two trillion dollars over last year's budget. Ron Paul has some suggestions on where to start. Also today, WaPo owner Jeff Bezos reveals why the paper decided not to endorse anyone for president.

Would be nice, but there is no way they can put this into effect without Congress. And Congress will never agree to that because that's how they buy votes.

And they will still raise protectionist tariffs. That much was promised.

If it was 2008 and Ron Paul said he would do it would you believe him?

I'd certainly believe he'd try with all his might. After all, he had two decades in the House trying to cut and/or kill every bloated budget that came his way.

Trump, meanwhile, had veto power over the budgets and in four years used it exactly once. Musk, meanwhile, isn't running for any elected office, and I haven't even heard what specific unelected office he might or might not be offered.

So, why do you ask?

And you can't count that one time because he was already on his way out.

Not that Trump is any different than all the others.

That was 12 years ago. So add in inflation and 2 Trillion with a "T" should be doable today.
Reality is that Ron Paul would have had no more ability to get it thru Congress than Trump.
Using the same analogy they use on Harris, if he could have done it, why didn't he do it already, he had been in Congress for years already and failed to get support for his concepts from other members of Congress.
It seems to me that the Trump Movement is much greater in numbers/support than the Ron Paul movement ever was.

If people want income tax gone, and Education gone, and budget cuts, Trump has the rhetoric and he is campaigning with others that could help effectuate change.

Whether it happens or not will remain to be seen.

The point is people believed it was possible when Ron said it.

If Elon just fires all the people who spend the money in the budget, then they should end up with the money at the end of the year.

I tried to mention you yesterday and I don't think it worked.
I have a question for you. You live in California a Leftist Utopia. There is zero chance for Trump to win CA. Are you going to vote? If so why?
