It's a little late in the game, but I know almost every American is worried about the state of our economy. Ron Paul's ideas and positions are second to none. There should be a slim jim pointing out the terrible spending and monetary policy of our current system. Then the flip side can say what Ron Paul will do about it. So something like (sorry I'm not doing the research for this):

SIDE A (Why our economy sucks)
  • Over $$$ billion is spent on the Iraq war each day ($$$ billion per year)
  • Our national debt has increased ???% since ???? (currently $$$ trillion)
  • The government spends $$$ billion a year on debt interest alone
  • The value of the dollar has dropped ???% since ????
  • The cost of living in England is lower than our own for the first time in ??? years
  • The poverty level has increased ???% since ????
  • (Say something shocking like...) At this rate America will go bankrupt by ????
SIDE B (How Ron Paul will fix it)
  • Save $$$ trillion a year by bringing all overseas troops home
  • Stop all unconstitutional spending (~ $$$ billion/year)
  • Close the Dept. of Edu., IRS, Dept. of Homeland Sec. (saving ~ $$$ billion/year)
  • Close the federal reserve (the source of inflation)
  • Return to a stable gold standard
  • Allow competition among currencies
  • Pay down the national debt.
Actual dollar amounts help. If you just say "the cost of the Iraq War" they'll probably think of a number way below what it actually is.
