Earth is 9,000 years old, says Rep. Paul Broun, who sits on House Science Committee (start

The most honest thing I've ever read, here.

I might agree, but why spoil it for others and keep bumping a thread with a candidate's name (and negative campaign point) in it?

Why not start a thread called "how old is the earth" for those interested in that subject?

The earth could have very well been created in six days. People fail to understand how time is not a constant. It varies with the concentration of gravity at the point and time it is being measured. As the universe expanded, the concentration of gravity was much higher than it is now. This would make the passage of time as measured now, seem much slower. Sure if we use our current clocks, it would be many millions of years. By the clock being used during those six days, a lot more happened in each twenty four hour day than happens in our current twenty four hour day.

As you approach a singularity, time dilates. The Big Bang was the most massive singularity in the history of the universe. I've always held that the Earth was BOTH 6000 years old AND 4.5 Billion years old. Depending on your reference point from the singularity.

Who defines the campaign point as "negative" ?

The establishment, perhaps ?

True. In Rep. Paul Broun's district believing in a young earth my net him votes. And really, that's nothing like the democrat that said Guam might tip over.
