I have been advocating to have a world wide date for all planes and automobiles to not be in operation. On the day of 911 and the day after while the planes were not flying I noticed how blue the sky got and how many more stars were visible in the night sky. I think people would be amazed at how much cleaner the air would be if this was done thru out the whole world. I also think this would be much more effective than cap-n-tax because it would actually make a noticeable, and immediate difference in the air quality. I get much more support from Asia than I do here for this idea for some reason. I think it might be because Asians are much smarter than westerners in general. Also they have a more oneness mentality they understand that one person affects all people. Everything we do affects everyone else.

Well the people I hear from in Asia are not sending me videos like this I could not watch it but I wonder what it has to do with earth hour or pollution?

I also am pretty sure that animals here get some pretty bad treatment especially the ones who go to slaughter so fat pig Americans can become fatter and more unhealthy.

I was just pointing out that Asians AREN'T necessarily smarter than everyone else. Asia and China is polluting the earth horribly, it was mentioned in the video. Capitalism gets blamed for pollution, but communist China dumps horrible toxins in the air and water and leftists around the world don't say a thing about it.

I think the people of Asia are almost powerless over what is happening as far as pollution goes in their country. They know it is happening they know it is bad. People over there who speak out are killed and/or put in prison first. I think it is a good thing that the people of Asia and China want to do something about the pollution problem. They do eat cats and dogs over there I don't see much difference in eating a cow or a pig I am sure if I had one or both they would become my pets they are smart and sweet animals too people here don't care what is put into them to make them fatter how they are kept or what they are fed as long as the FDA approves of it is is okay. Americans are the most over weight people in the world we over indulge in so many things cow and pig meat is two of these things or beings.....

I could not possibly watch a film that shows an animal being skinned alive. I saw a video on TV years ago of the seal pups being clubbed and skinned. I could see it's poor little heart still beating while being skinned and while the mother seal cried out it was horrible. I had night mares over it for years.
