Its a little late to mount a counter demonstration, but it might have been a good idea for all Global Warming, er, I mean Climate Change non-believers to light up their homes like the proverbial Christmas tree at 8:30 tomorrow night.

read an article today that if you burned one candle for every lightbulb you don't use at that time, you are creating 10-100 times more CO2 than if you just left the lightbulb on.

For sure, but the evidence for C02 is pretty bullshit man. Even if we get rid of all co2 emissions that mankind produces, that's only 3% of the total c02 that is produced on earth.
97% of C02 in the earths atmosphere is not from mankind's interference!

It's also MUCH closer to the sun, but you do have a point. I think the sun has a lot more to do with temperatures than greenhouse gases.

yuppers... that's why we must remain vigilant. I worked with Environment Canada as a Weather observer for about 2 years, and I can tell you that there is anything but a consensus int he weather community when it comes to climate change.
