Early results in for the city of Lewiston caucus in Androscoggin county.

Lewiston, win. Auburn, win. South Portland, lost by 1 vote. Has Portland come in yet? If we lost South Portland by 1, I think we won Portland. Those are the biggest cities. Won or tied them all. The absolutely richest suburbs will likely go to Romney. Cape Elizabeth would surprise me with a Ron Paul win.

Turnout is extremely high in Andro. Romney actually did better in Lewiston and Auburn than last time. We got 3 x - 4 x as many votes as 08, and Romney got single digits more. In Lewiston, Santorum's 33 would've gotten him the win in 08.

This will piss people off. This is what happened in Portland. From facebook

So after waiting for about an hour and a half for them to announce the elected delegates in Portland, they claimed there was a discrepancy of 19 ballots at my caucus. This prevents them from announcing the delegates in Portland and also prevents us from electing a Delegate Chair. Seeing as how an overwhelming majority of those who showed up to be delegates were obvious RP supporters it's not hard to see what happening. NOT impressed

Maine's state motto is "The Way Life Should Be". I moved here from Southern CA a little over 10 years ago. It's a great place to live. Most people here have a libertarian streak in their political views even if they don't identify it as such.

I wish i still lived in the Belfast area. Last election i had the honor of being a delegate to the state convention. This election i am in Florida and pretty much just pissed my vote away.
